BLAINE, Minn. -- Ron Paul supporters shook things up in at least three of Minnesota's congressional district conventions yesterday when they captured nearly all of the national delegates.

Two out of three national delegates elected were Ron Paul supporters and all three of the alternates supported Paul. After the election results were announced at the convention, they were immediately disputed when it was discovered that the candidates had agreed to support John McCain in pre-screening questions.

This was supposed to be the year the Democratic Party made its comeback. Democrats were supposed to increase their majorities in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

Because of the disillusionment with President Bush's policies in Iraq and the state of the economy, the White House was ripe for the picking. All we had to do was choose the best one, unite behind that candidate and cruise to victory.

While it is still eight-and-a-half months away, we already know the Election of 2008 is in the toilet.

The people-even those who like the candidates we will be forced to choose from-have already lost because the designated winners and losers are all losers. John McCain. Hillary Clinton. Barack Obama. The issues that will be enacted during the 111th and 112th Congress will destroy the fabric of America and leave the United States torn, tattered and bleeding profusely.

Tuesday's second "Super Tuesday" was another display of putrid politics. Allegedly Marxist Hillary Clinton took Texas. Why wouldn't she? We all recall her famous words a few months ago, "No woman is an illegal."

Texas is infested with illegal aliens and we know they're voting. A few days before this horse and pony show, Obama and Clinton exchanged spit over NAFTA. Both of them tried to out do each other for the sake of big labor in Ohio, a job devastated state. Neither one of them pointed out this treaty is unconstitutional and why.

Former White House hopeful Mike Huckabee endorsed Sen. John McCain as he dropped out of the Republican presidential race on Tuesday night. But the million-dollar question is: will his network of evangelical supporters follow his lead?

The Huckabee machine included "homeschoolers" who volunteered for him in droves. The energy of those conservative Christians - who as their name suggests educate their children at home in part to shield them from the secular world - would be welcomed by the McCain camp.

Lillington home schooling parent Jone Rose added her name to the ballot for the District 4 seat on the Harnett County School Board Friday, the last day of filing.

A lifelong resident of Harnett County and secretary of the Republican Party here, Mrs. Rose said her experience teaching her own children will help her on the school board.

Does Hillary think voters are stupid? Her rant was filmed in OHIO, where they have lost more than 200K jobs to NAFTA.

Does she really think all those families don't know who passed that legislation into law, and they are well aware that she supported it. Rather than casting a negative light on Obama, she has made herself look foolish and only drawn MORE attention to her support of NAFTA.

TRAVERSE CITY -- Meijer Inc. critics are questioning whether the Grand Rapids-based retailer used a public relations firm to create a "grassroots" support group as a front to tamper with two local elections.

Acme Taxpayers for Responsible Government aligned itself with Meijer in township elections in 2005 and in 2007, elections that state and local officials are scrutinizing for possible violations of Michigan campaign finance laws and other crimes.

Dr. Ron Paul's contention that the U.S. Department of Education should be eliminated has raised eyebrows. The networks' talking heads along with many average citizens simply cannot conceive of how children can be educated without the assistance of the DoE

Many of the same objections made against Dr. Paul's criticisms of ED have been made against homeschooling. The National Education Association (NEA) has vociferously criticized home schooling. One member of the NEA angrily referred to home schooling as "child abuse."

John McCain is riding high these days after allegedly winning so many primaries and caucuses. Romney, after spending a whopping $35 million dollars of his own money to get himself elected, has joined the field of drop outs, well, sort of.

Romney's 'suspension' speech focused entirely on "the party coming together." He declared himself to be a loyal party man and has endorsed McCain. Um, didn't McCain and Romney have some very contentious dust-ups during the debates? Now, Romney is McCain's supporter "for the party." Not for we the people, it's always about blind loyalty to a political party - even when that machine is destroying this republic.
