A story in the Los Angeles Times raises disturbing questions about the practice of irrigating California farmland with the wastewater from fracking. Here's what's happening:

In the Kern County program, Chevron's leftover water is mixed with walnut shells, a process the company says extracts excess oil. The water then flows to a series of treatment ponds. The treated water is launched into an eight-mile canal to the Cawelo Water District, where it is sometimes further diluted with fresh water. The water supplies 90 Kern County farmers with about half their annual irrigation water. The program is a good deal for oil companies, which view the water as an expensive nuisance. And it's a bargain for the water districts.

If you have you been following my posts on Facebook, you would know how concerned I am about our environment and those that have to live in it... namely...

I can't tell you how many friends have died from lung cancer - the non-smoking kind, which kills roughly 85%. Non-small cell lung cancer accounts for about 85 percent of lung cancers according to the Lung Cancer Fact Sheet. This is the non-smoking kind. They leave out that little tidbit.

The current geoengineering regime, which blankets Planet Earth with chemtrails 24/7, constitutes the single greatest threat to humanity and the biosphere.

The most insidious aspect of this planet-destroying endeavor is that it is happening almost completely under the radar, as well as above the clouds. By that it should be understood that the vast majority of 7 billion people who inhabit the planet are completely unaware of the covert global geoengineering program. When such is the case, and officialdom works triple time to deny the very existence of chemtrails by saying they're contrails, those in the know must respond appropriately. Hence, the best way to draw attention to this "pink elephant in the living room" is to bring a lawsuit against the responsible parties in all the appropriate jurisdictions.

Though there are certainly many parts to this unfolding story, the largest piece of the puzzle by far still goes completely unacknowledged by most of the scientific community and all of the main stream media/corporate/military/industrial complex.

The massive elephant in the room has been, and still is, "stratospheric aerosol geoengineering" (SAG), AKA "solar radiation management" (SRM). A primary stated goal of the geoengineering programs is to provide a "solar shield" to slow "runaway climate change" by spraying tens of millions of tons of highly toxic metal nano particulates (a nanometer is 1/1,000,000,000 of a meter) into the atmosphere from jet aircraft. Is the spraying only for solar radiation management? Based on available data, there are a number of known objectives including but not limited to SRM, weather warfare, over the horizon radar enhancement, controlling food production, and probable biological testing. There are likely many more aspects and agendas related to the atmospheric spraying which we can not yet know.

When he visits his father's homeland in Africa later this month, President Obama looks set to run into vocal opposition over his administration's high-profile promotion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues.

Obama's trip to Kenya, his first as president, is scheduled to take place four weeks after the White House was bathed in rainbow colors to mark the U.S. Supreme Court ruling declaring that same-sex marriage is a right. At a small pro-family demonstration at the parliament in Nairobi Monday, organized by the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya, participants called on the American president not to raise the subject during his visit.

Whether you eat them or not, do you know what the risks are from eating GMOs?

If you don't know whether or not you're eating genetically modified organisms , you're not alone-at least in the U.S. Despite the many petitions and appeals for state or federal regulations on labeling foods that contain GMOs, none have passed. And that means companies still don't have to disclose whether or not a product includes genetically modified organisms. What's the big deal, you ask?

Governor Brown's signing of SB277 creates a forced vaccination and sacrifices parental and religious rights and school education.

In order to sign the bill into law, Governor Brown had to abandon his long-standing legislative record as a champion of parental and religious rights and school education. NVIC called him out in a July 1, 2015 letter for failing to protect California families from segregation and discrimination based on vaccination and health care choices that parents make in the best interest of their minor children.

When Cyprus banks imploded, Americans, shrugged "where the Hell is Cyprus and what does it have to do with me?" Well, those who still don't know the answer may soon find out the very hard way why the Cyprus disaster may be spreading.

Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and a member state of the European Union. Prior to joining, Cyprus had a thriving economy and its banks were considered offshore safe-havens for wealthy Russians, KGB "black money" and other European investors who wanted to protect their assets from overzealous governments.

Upset about a federal bill they say would make it harder for consumers to know whether food has been genetically modified, about 20 people rallied outside U.S. Rep. Billy Long's local office Thursday.

Long, a Republican, is one of 68 lawmakers co-sponsoring the "Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act," which was introduced by U.S. Rep. Mike Pompeo, a Republican from Kansas.

When it comes to the news, where we choose or are guided to focus attention is critical as it determines what we know, how we think, feel and believe which powerfully shapes our view of the world.

And don't think for an instant that the government's media arms are not aware of this. The United States, in particular, has used media propaganda to bend the hearts and minds of its people to their will for a long time now. Being fully aware of this tactic, in turn, allows a higher perspective from which to filter information and news events the government deems most important for us to focus upon. In just about every case, there is something arguably much more newsworthy going on at the same time they'd rather we didn't know about.
