Assembly Bill 2756 mandates warrantless entry by officials into your home-this is a clear violation of your constitutional rights.

The authors of Assembly Bill 2756 assert that the proposed law is intended to protect children by mandating annual fire inspections of all institutions that file an annual private school affidavit. This would include private schools with fewer than six students-which are currently exempt from fire code inspections. Why are they exempt? Because these are private homes where children are homeschooled, and private homes should not be subject to fire inspections. AB 2756 removes this exemption, in an attempt to give raw power to state officials to enter private homes of homeschoolers to "look around" to make sure the children are safe from abuse and neglect. In reality, this bill is not about fire inspections; it is a misguided reaction to the Turpin child abuse case in Perris, California.

For the last week or so, the entire nation has been talking about gun control -- or at least the media has been talking about it.

The scandal that the media is ignoring, but is probably the most important part of this story, involves the Broward County School District and local police agencies colluding to lay the foundation of the Douglas High School tragedy. What do I mean? The story all began about 6 years ago in Miami-Dade County (the county just South of Broward), where the school district was struggling to succeed.

Facebook Inc. failed again to get out of a lawsuit alleging its photo scanning technology flouts users' privacy rights.

U.S. District Judge James Donato's decision to let the class-action case proceed means that Facebook is still potentially on the hook for fines under a unique Illinois law of $1,000 to $5,000 each time a person's image is used without permission. A court victory for consumers could lead to new restrictions on Facebook's use of biometrics in the U.S., similar to those in Europe and Canada.

As California lawmakers continue their track-record of controversial decisions, one announcement in particular has caused an outcry for its overreaching presumption: that all homeschoolers must also be child abusers.

According to The Washington Examiner, the plan set out by lawmakers would be to force parents into proving to the government that they are, in fact, fit to be a parent. The homeschooling parent - per legal requirement - would have to meet the government's required checklist via home visits, interviews, and other oversights, effectively increasing the burden on the parent to prove themselves parentally fit.

In what would be a significant shift from Gov. Jerry Brown's position on early education, the four leading Democratic candidates running to replace him next year say they are committed to offering universal preschool in California.

Under Gov. Brown's watch, California has increased the number of subsidized preschool and child care slots, as well as access to an early kindergarten grade called transitional kindergarten for some 4-year-olds. But much to the frustration of early education advocates, Brown has rejected pressures to expand preschool to all low-income 4-year-olds, mainly citing the costs of such an expansion as the major impediment. In a setback for advocates two years ago, Brown vetoed what was called "The Preschool for All" legislation (Assembly Bill 47).

In 2001, not long after Oklahoma had adopted one of the nation's first universal pre-K programs, researchers from Georgetown University began tracking kids who came out of the program in Tulsa, documenting their academic progress over time.

In a new report published in the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management today, researchers were able to show that Tulsa's pre-K program has significant, positive effects on students' outcomes and well-being through middle school.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Canadian Society of Pediatrics state infants aged 0-2 years should not have any exposure to technology, 3-5 years be restricted to one hour per day, and 6-18 years restricted to 2 hours per day (AAP 2001/13, CPS

Children and youth use 4-5 times the recommended amount of technology, with serious and often life threatening consequences (Kaiser Foundation 2010, Active Healthy Kids Canada 2012). Handheld devices (cell phones, tablets, electronic games) have dramatically increased the accessibility and usage of technology, especially by very young children (Common Sense Media, 2013).

So...some people actually want to be microchipped like a dog. They're lining up for it. They're having parties to get it done. It if isn't available to them, they're totally bummed out.

I'm not even going to venture into the religious aspect of having a microchip inserted into a human being. Let's just talk about the secular ramifications. Certain folks won't be happy until everyone has a computer chip implanted in them. Here's how this could go. Initially, it would be the sheep who blindly desire to be chipped for their own "convenience" leading the way. Then, it would become remarkably inconvenient not to be chipped - sort of like it's nearly impossible to not have a bank account these days. Then, the last holdouts could be forcibly chipped by law. Read on, because I could not make this stuff up.

For numerous health issues, some plants are considered to cause miracles, because they can fight some issues like they're a joke. These plants were given to mankind by Mother Nature, and they truly are beneficial for pharmaceuticals.

Put the water in a pot, and put the pot on heat. As soon as the water starts to boil, put the leaves inside. Leave the leaves inside to cook for a few minutes. Then remove it from heat, put a cover on it and let it cool down. Train it and then add some honey to sweeten it.
