We are buying organic, eating in season and buying locally. Our meat is grassfed, our bread in homebaked and I feel good about what my family is eating.

"Frankenfoods' or better living through biotechnology? when it comes to genetically modified organisms, they just want what all of us want to know: Are GMOs safe? And should we know if they're in our food? Therein lies the rub over GMOs.

Anti-GMO crusaders dispute such benefits. In any case, they say they have a right to know if GMOs are in their food, while opponents of labeling challenge the anti-GMO crowd to produce real scientific evidence of harm.

"You can refuse this swab, you can refuse a breathalyzer, you can refuse to participate in a field sobriety test, you can refuse to answer questions," says criminal defense attorney Mark Gallagher.

"Now, law enforcement doesn't like this advice, but we do still have a constitution." ReasonTV's Tracy Oppenheimer sat down with Gallagher to discuss the latest addition to LAPD's arsenal: saliva swabs that allegedly detect drug use. Gallagher advises to always decline sobriety tests, especially because these saliva swabs have yet to prove their efficacy in determining if drivers are indeed impaired from marijuana or other illegal substances. "It doesn't tell us when they took it [marijuana], or how much they took, and how is it affecting their ability to drive the vehicle. And that's really what we need to know, to know whether or not that person is a safety risk on the road," says Gallagher.

Men with assault rifles raided a family who had been growing tomatoes and melons under grow-lights. The government agents thought that was enough probable cause to believe they were growing forbidden plants inside their home.

Apparently all it takes to get raided is buying hydroponics equipment and materials for indoor gardening. Dogs entered the home. The armed agents belittled the family and implied that their 13-year-old boy was growing marijuana in the home...
