Question: When is a legal case really newsworthy? Answer: When it's never covered by the mainstream media. Yet the ongoing Merck MMR case - which no-one is being told about - is even more important than VIOXX was.

I wonder how Merck has managed to so skillfully keep it out of mainstream media.... So let's update the news, .... that isn't being told. An ARTICLE planted recently in the pro-corporate website Law360 says pretty much what Merck's lawyers wanted it to say. Naturally, it was ignored by mainstream media. It said: 'Eric Sitarchuk of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP emphasized that the suit brought by two former employees of the company does not hold up because they failed to demonstrate that the label of its mumps vaccine was false and that the FDA was misled about the efficacy of the vaccine...

If an unvaccinated child passes a disease onto a baby who's too young to be vaccinated, should its parents be able to sue the infected child's parents for negligence?

That's the question that's recently been raised by one bioethicist in the Journal of Law Medicine and Ethics. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that children under the age of six be vaccinated for 14 infectious diseases including hepatitis, measles and mumps-all diseases that are spread from person to person. Some hold that vaccinations are the most effective form of health intervention of the 21st century, preventing the spread of deadly diseases.

espite the well-documented benefits of vaccines - and the equally well-documented lack of risk - a growing number of Michigan parents are opting out of inoculations.

I come from the generation in which we were scared to death of getting polio. When they came out with the polio vaccine, we lined up to get our sugar cube. Even the children knew how lucky they were to get this. What has happened? We make our kids wear helmets when they ride their bikes, sit in car seats and wear seat belts, make them wear life jackets near water, and yet somehow think it is OK to skip inoculating them against diseases that could kill them.

Rates for vaccination against the human papillomavirus (HPV) among adolescent girls failed to increase from 2011 to 2012, despite sufficient availability of and access to the vaccine, according to a report published on July 26, 2013.

The report summarizes data from the 2007-2012 National Immunization Survey-Teen (NIS-Teen) and from national post-licensure vaccine safety monitoring. Since 2006, the NIS-Teen has collected information on the vaccination of teenagers aged 13 to 17, using a random-digit-dialed sample of landline and cellular phone numbers. Once parents and guardians granted the researchers permission to contact their child's vaccination provider, providers were mailed questionnaires to obtain medical records of vaccination history.

In a hard hitting editorial, the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics (IJME) has accused the WHO of promoting Pentavalent vaccine "by stating falsely that no adverse event following immunization (AEFI) has ever been reported with the vaccine."

The journal says this is contrary to facts. The IJME editorial by Dr. Jacob Puliyel, head of pediatrics at St Stephens Hospital in New Delhi, is based on his detailed investigation into the deaths of children in Bhutan, Sri Lanka, India and Vietnam following use of Pentavalent vaccine. This vaccine combines the Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus or DPT vaccine - long used in national immunization programs - with Hepatitis-B and H influenza-b or Hib vaccine.

Labor's plan to withhold tax benefits from parents who do not immunise their children has gathered cross-party support.

A re-elected Labor government would withhold Family Tax Benefit Part A supplements worth about $2000 from parents who shun vaccinations. The policy ups the ante on Labor's 2012 immunisation reform, which required guardians to justify in writing their reason for not vaccinating their kids.

Note the quote from this article: "It happens in a child whose body refused to be immune despite vaccination."

This polio case is a clear example of the difference between vaccination and immunization. Vaccination means being inoculated with an artificial vaccine which is SUPPOSED TO make you immune to the disease. Immunization means gaining immunity to the disease through natural exposure or a vaccine. Vaccine failure results in no immunity after vaccination.

A new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that many teenage girls in the United States are not getting vaccinated against the most common sexually transmitted infection.

The human papillomavirus, abbreviated as "HPV," can in some cases lead to health problems, including genital warts and cervical cancer. According to the CDC, approximately 79 million Americans are currently infected with HPV, and anyone who is having or has ever had sex is at risk of becoming infected with the virus.

Suspicions have been confirmed for those wary of vaccinating their children. A recent large study corroborates other independent study surveys comparing unvaccinated children to vaccinated children.

They all show that vaccinated children have two to five times more childhood diseases, illnesses, and allergies than unvaccinated children. Originally, the recent still ongoing study compared unvaccinated children against a German national health survey conducted by KiGGS involving over 17,000 children up to age 19. This currently ongoing survey study was initiated by classical homoeopathist Andreas Bachmair. However, the American connection for Bachmair's study can be found at VaccineInjury.info website that has added a link for parents of vaccinated children to participate in the study. So far this ongoing survey has well over 11,000 respondents, mostly from the U.S.A. Other studies have surveyed smaller groups of families.

After decades of passionate debate, parents probably missed the repeated admissions by drug companies and governments alike that vaccines do in fact cause autism.

For concerned parents seeking the truth, it's worth remembering that the exact same people who own the world's drug companies also own America's news outlets. Finding propaganda-free information has been difficult, until now. At the center of the fifteen-year controversy is Dr. Andrew Wakefield of Austin, Texas. It was Dr. Wakefield that first publicized the link between stomach disorders and autism, and taking the findings one step further, the link between stomach disorders, autism and the Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR) vaccine. For that discovery way back in 1996, and a subsequent research paper published by the doctor in 1998, Andrew Wakefield has found himself the victim of a world-wide smear campaign by drug corporations, governments and media companies.
