Lice: Public School Enemy Number One

I admit it has been many years since I've had children in the public school system but oh how I remember the problem of head lice.
My beautiful little daughter had long blonde ringlets that shimmered as it flowed down her back. She had a lovely head of hair but after several lice episodes, we learned to keep her hair tied up. I spent many a morning french braiding her shiny tresses and remember thinking how nice it would be for her to allow her hair to flow freely.
