It took four to five days for CNN and the big three networks to notice Obama told his audience at a Virginia campaign rally that business owners and other successful Americans aren't responsible for their own success.

Worse, it took advisers for Mitt Romney to comment before these news organizations deigned to report on the incident. In Roanoke, Virginia on Friday, July 13, the President said to business owners, "If you've got a business -- you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," causing an uproar on both sides of the aisle as Republicans expressed shock at Obama's comments and liberals defended the President's anti-business remarks.

Remember when the Old Media assured us that Reagan was stupid, when they told us how dumb George W. Bush was, and how dumb McCain was? Remember how they were all too stupid to know what they were talking about? Not like Obama, right?

Why he's the smartest guy in the room... any room. Why he even knows that "paralegals" are on hand to help those who might faint at one of his campaign appearances. Well, that is what he said. So what did Obama do? Well, he was at a campaign stop in Roanoke, Virginia and, as so many Obama-struck attendees are wont to do, there was fainting. From the podium, Obama said that he'd get some "paralegals" to come help.

More from President Obama, the most negative campaigner in recent presidential campaign history.

time Obama is name calling Fox News fans, saying they are "stubborn" for having the temerity to frequent the most watched cable news station on the air. At a campaign stop in Virginia on July 6, Obama thought it would be funny to take a shot at Fox News.

Want an example of how a liberal society is set up to eventually commit suicide? A feminist journalist from England, Cinnamon Heathcote-Drury, got involved in a case that serves as just such an example.

Heathcote-Drury got her world turned upside down over the last few months, and the liberalism of her own self-defeating British culture is what did her in. One has to feel for her, if only a little bit, but her case most certainly shines a spotlight on the failings of progressivism. So, imagine the scene. A British, feminist journalist sees a woman in a hijab loading a large number of groceries onto the store conveyor belt at check out. She begins fuming with feminist ire because this Muslim woman's husband stands idly by doing nothing to help the overworked woman load the groceries...

Washington Post Fact Checker Glenn Kessler will not fact check any facts published by his own paper. Kessler announced in his article that he won't be awarding any "Pinocchios" to the Post's claims that Romney outsourced jobs during his Bain days.

Romney has demanded that the Washington Post retract its deceptive June 21 story but the Post refuses to do so. "The Fact Checker does not check the facts in the reporting of Washington Post writers or columnists," Kessler writes. "We generally confine ourselves to checking the rhetoric used by politicians and interest groups."

In its update on the coming student loan interest rate hike deal in Congress, Politico dances its blame-the-GOP tap dance once again, saying that the coming rate hike is all just "politics."

But somehow Politico forgets to note that this interest rate problem is of the Democrats' own making. Reporting that Congress has signed off on a bipartisan deal to halt the scheduled interest rate increase on millions of student loans, Politico takes a paragraph to "explain" what the hold up was.

Once again the left-wing media edits a video to misrepresent what a Republican is saying to make him look like an idiot.

This time, MSNBC and Andrea Mitchell edited the context right out of a June 18 video of Mitt Romney talking about eastern U.S. chain restaurant Wawa's in order to make it seem as if he was out of touch with reg'lr Americans. Mitchell likened her heavily edited video to President George H.W. Bush's "grocery scanner moment." During the president's 1992 re-election campaign, he was portrayed by the Old Media as never having seen a price scanner at a grocery store (though this characterization was untrue).

Newark, New Jersey Mayor Corey Booker is apparently now washed up.

He went from being one of the most prominent up-and-coming black Democrats to being on the outside looking in merely because he said something that diverges from Obama's war on capitalism. Now even NBC is kicking him out of its Meet The Press studios. Yep, ol' Corey is finished. Only two weeks after Mr. Booker demurred from attacking Mitt Romney, Bain Capitol, venture capitalists, private equity -- heck, even capitalism in general -- NBC has replaced Booker with another black politician that will better pay fealty to Obama's campaign for a second term, one that is based on a war on capitalism.

Curiously, an Atlantic article that points out Old Media was "late to report" on John Edwards' extramarital affairs and corruption makes its own strange omission from the story.

Somehow, blogger Hampton Dellinger forgets to mention even once that Edwards was, indeed, a Democrat. Yet five times the piece mentions Republicans in order to cast aspersions on the Grand Old Party. This one can be chalked up to one of our favorite games, the "name that party" game, where one can read an entire story about a troubled or criminal politician without once being told that the subject is a Democrat.

Last week we all got a great lesson in how the left promotes a lie to make Republicans the enemy and this time President Obama was a chief participant.

This is how the game is played: the left-leaning media establishment makes a claim about how rotten Republicans are and Obama then echoes the claim and presents it as the true state of Republican opposition to his policies. The result is that we have a partisan opinion foisted on the public as truth about how mean the GOP is to this poor, well-meaning president. A false media narrative is established by the partisan press, politician adds said meme to a policy speech, presto-chango, a political "fact" is born. But it's all just a partisan hit job masquerading as fact.
