I have to say, at this point I am convinced that no one on the left really hates racism. In fact, they love it as it is their most important tool with which to control gullible voters.

Cry racism and their mind-numbed acolytes dutifully echo the charge whether it is true or not - and it's usually not. Well, they've done it again, cast the race card at conservatives. But this time they fell into a trap laid for them purposefully, set in order to prove their hatemongering, stupidity, cynicism, and lies.

I suppose we couldn't get past the one-year anniversary of the crime against Democrat Representative Gabrielle Giffords without some Old Media outlet blaming the supposed "heated" political rhetoric of the day for her shooting.

On Sunday we saw NPR doing just that. The fact is, no matter how many times they say it, politics and the "heated rhetoric" thereof had absolutely nothing at all to do with Giffords' shooting. The linking of the crime to politics is just not legitimate.

The Washington Post's Aaron Blake posted an infographic that was a perfect example of how one can use a graphic chart to influence the public in subtle ways, ways that we of the center right better start employing in our own efforts.

Blake's post, "Why People Hate Congress," fits in well with President Obama's class warfare rhetoric as employed by his campaign to set different economic classes against each other in a desperate and cynically populist bid to get reelected next year. There is little of substance to Blake's post other than to fan the flames of the sort of hatred that he wants to see grow in order to aid Obama in 2012. The Post's Blake also ended up having to pull the graphic off his The Fix blog post because it simply did not illustrate what he claimed it did in his story - but that is another issue that we'll deal with at the end of this report.

One of the Old Media's favorite ways of attempting to hide the ideological track of a story is to somehow forget to mention which party someone in the news hails or to whom they owe their fealty. In this case, it is what they don't report that misleads.

This week we find a classic what-they-don't-say story concerning the judge that blocked sections of South Carolina's new immigration law. For those unaware, U.S. District Judge Richard Gergel temporarily blocked segments of South Carolina's new immigration laws because he claimed that some of its provisions impinged on federal prerogatives, things over which the state has no jurisdiction. The South Carolina law was opposed in court by Obama's left-wing, activist Department of Justice headed by Eric "Fast And Furious" Holder and a gaggle of civil rights groups.

This past weekend the Washington Post published a hit piece on the grand opening of a museum in Georgia dedicated to the birthplace of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

The paper was desperate to make some grand conspiracy, some lawbreaking evil out of the project. But whatever is going on with the museum, this story was just one more shot orchestrated by the left aimed at forcing Justice Thomas to recuse himself from the upcoming hearings on whether or not Obamacare is Constitutional. Of course, this is all a smoke screen to hide the fact that it is really left-wing darling Justice Elana Kagan that should recuse herself from the case.

Presidential hopeful Herman Cain made an appearance on ABC's The View this week and had to deflect staggering ignorance from host Joy Behar.

Discussing Cain's assertion that some blacks are "brainwashed" not to consider any conservative ideas, the very first sentence out of Behar's mouth was "The Republican Party hasn't been black friendly over the many centuries in this country." Sadly, the coffee klatch program is what passes for as "intelligent" conversation on TV these days. Behar's blather is ignorant in a million ways and indicative of the historical illiteracy of the far left in this country.

In a recurrence of its bout with Bush Derangement Syndrome, MSNBC recently relied on a left-wing, green activist to assert that the whole Solyndra scandal was really started by George W. Bush.

Yep, it's Boosh's fault once again. Of course, the facts speak otherwise, but let's not let truth get in the way of a good left-wing trope, shall we? On the Friday September 23 episode of "MSNBC Live," host Thomas Roberts was discussing the wasted loan of half a billion in tax dollars to the later bankrupt green company Solyndra and he brought on a the left-winger to address the mounting scandal plaguing the Obama administration. Naturally Thomas and guest were desperate to find someone other than Obama to blame this mess on. And who better to blame than the left's favorite fall guy, George W. Bush?

A known liberal activist that has for months been stalking several Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin, verbally abusing them, has finally crossed the line into a physical attack.

So ... where is the Old Media to chronicle this assault? Sadly, no where to be seen. On Sept. 14 left-wing activist Miles Kirstan entered The Inn at 22 S. Carroll Street in Madison, Wisconsin, began to harass some GOP lawmakers patronizing the establishment, and ultimately attacked them, throwing a mug of beer on them.

The Obama administration has been touting new Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards to be imposed on America's automobile manufacturers saying that it will save all Americans money at the pumps.

Unfortunately, there are all sorts of hidden costs of which the administration isn't noting, costs that will drive up the price of driving in multiple ways for all of us. The new standards are supposed to raise the miles per gallon requirements from the 2016 mandate of 35.5 mpg to 56 mpg by the year 2025. The administration claims that this would be a big savings and would serve to help get Americans off a reliance on foreign oil. Curiously, as Obama touts his new CAFE standards as a way to get us off foreign oil, there is no talk at all of increasing domestic oil production which would help do the same thing. But I digress.

On MSNBC, John Kerry told us that Tea Party ideas are not "real" ideas, not "factual," and thinks that the media should stop reporting on anything that smacks of ideas or news coming from Tea Partiers.

If this isn't proof of how Democrats and leftists would use the power of government to quash free political speech, what is? Not long ago, several Democrats tried to once again raise the ugly head of the defunct Fairness Doctrine that was killed during the Reagan administration in order to limit the free political speech of conservatives. In those dark days when Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House of Representatives, several Republicans talked about forever outlawing the anti-free speech rule. Democrats at the time spoke up in favor of the Fairness Doctrine and countered that they wanted to bring it back.
