State gun laws are unfortunately on everyone's minds in the wake of the Connecticut elementary school shootings.

Each state has its own gun laws with varying degrees of effectiveness and toughness. Some states like California are known to be notoriously tough on gun owners, while other states like Utah and Alaska have comparatively lax laws, according to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. In fact, the Brady Campaign issues "scorecards" to rank each state's gun laws. Here are the 10 states with the toughest gun laws, according to the Brady Campaign's latest report...

Cyber criminals often go after your enterprise data by preying on your end users. Here are ten of the most current exploits to watch for

With so much of today's business conducted via the Web -- on so many types of devices -- cybercriminals smell blood in the water. Employees share more information than ever and connect to more outside networks than ever, making them subject to the threats posed by opportunistic attackers. Every day, criminals devise new malware and social engineering attacks that target what has become an organization's weakest link: end users and their Web-connected devices. Here are the most common attack methods and social engineering techniques, and ideas on how to stop these attacks before they infect end user devices and work their way into your corporate data.

Around 10,000 deceased people were recently found on Virginia's voter rolls by the State Board of Elections.

Local registrars are now working to cancel those voters from the list of registered voters, according to the SBE. There's no indication of any voter fraud, but the SBE also said it can't rule the possibility out. The deceased names were identified by the SBE by cross-referencing 15 million records in the National Technical Information Services master death file with the current list of registered voters in Virginia.

During last night's debate, Bret Baier asked all the candidates to raise their hand if they would refuse a deficit deal that was 10-1 spending cuts to tax increases. All raised their hands.

Having all Republicans go on record as opposing any tax hikes whatsoever, even as part of an advantageous deal, seems like a perfect opportunity for Democrats to once again deride the GOP as unreasonable, willing to take the economy hostage, terrorists, etc.

While there are certainly differences between Democrats and Republicans, here are 100 ways Republicans are just like Democrats.

There is a widely-held perception that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party are drastically different in their policy, proposals, philosophy of government, and general modus operandi. While there are certainly some significant differences between the two parties, the number of similarities are astounding. A few months ago on IVN, Wes Messamore explored the similarities between the two major party candidates, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney.

The number of Americans receiving subsidized food assistance from the federal government has risen to 101 million, representing roughly a third of the U.S. population.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates that a total of 101,000,000 people currently participate in at least one of the 15 food programs offered by the agency, at a cost of $114 billion in fiscal year 2012. That means the number of Americans receiving food assistance has surpassed the number of private sector workers in the U.S.

It's about time somebody in Congress reads the Constitution.

They say they're going after the unelected bureaucracies like the EPA and ObamaCare. I sure hope they stick to their word. The Constitution frequently gets lip service in Congress, but House Republicans next year will make sure it gets a lot more than that - the new rules the incoming majority party proposed this week call for a full reading of the country's founding document on the floor of the House on Jan. 6.

Voter fraud is now the "name of the game" for Barack Obama. Voter fraud is the only way that Mr. Obama can win this November! That is why we must be very diligent in all that we do.

THIS PAST WEEK, during the Wisconsin recall election against Governor Scott Walker, there was the worst case of VOTER FRAUD seen in quite a while. In spite of voter fraud by his opponents, Gov. Walker was overwhelmingly victorious! Madison is the capital city of Wisconsin. Dane is the County. Voter statistics, verified by a Madison City Clerk, from Dane County, reported that of all registered voters...119% CAST BALLOTS. This is merely a glimpse of voter fraud to come this Fall. We must have total election transparency this year.

Don't expect this to be the last stop for the train, but during the next stage of the court challenge process, the individual mandate in Obamacare (not the entire law) has been found unconstitutional.

One comment of note from the majority declared the mandate to be, "a wholly novel and potentially unbounded assertion of congressional authority." This is pretty much in line with most of the well fleshed out complaints we've seen since the suit was originally begun. At United Liberty, George Scoville calls it a great day for liberty.

An article written for the Huffington Post by professor Matthew Lynch, Ed.D., provides a unique, chilling insight into the mind of an Obama supporter intoxicated by blind idealism.

"12 Reasons Why Obama Is One of the Best Presidents Ever" begins by acknowledging Obama's made a "number of mistakes", but stands firm his legacy will, "be remembered in the annals of history as a revered revolutionary." 6 years into presidency, President Barack Obama seems to compete with George W. Bush in terms of extraordinary power abuse, constitutional crimes, perpetual scandals, and extraordinary corruption. He has earned an impeachment and a 39% approval rating. Judging his legacy prematurely is unwise, but so is glossing over his grave misconduct.
