"Politico isn't reprinting Sinclair's allegations because they are unsubstantiated." So wrote Ben Smith of Politico on June 18, 2008. Those were the days!

Smith was referring to Larry Sinclair, who had enraged the Obama faithful by renting space at the National Press Club, there to share his allegations of a drug-fueled sex tryst with Barack Obama in 1999. Smith, however, was not at all shy about sharing what he knew about Larry Sinclair. Indeed, by the end of the Politico article, the reader knew more about Sinclair, all of it unsavory and most of it likely true, than he did about Obama.

A public relations firm closely partnered with the George Soros-funded Tides Foundation represented last week's anti-Wall Street march past millionaires' homes in New York.

Fenton Communications has been behind the public relations strategy of a who's who of far-left causes, organizations and activists, from Soros himself to Health Care for America Now to crafting strategies for MoveOn.org and a litany of anti-war groups. Fenton, which works closely with Tides, first made its name representing communist dictatorships in the 1980s. Fenton's founder is tied to President Obama and to a slew of Saul Alinsky-style community organizing groups directly involved in recent U.S. street protests, including in Wisconsin and New York.

Adobe expert doubts Obama birth certificate

Gary Poyssick, an early employee of software giant Adobe System Inc., continues to maintain there is something "fishy" about the Obama long-form birth certificate released by the White House.

"I could have done a much better replica myself, if the president had asked," Poyssick told The Political Sandbox blog when the birth certificate first appeared and he opened the document in Adobe Illustrator. "The guy that did this is a bimbo in that he forgot to 'flatten' his works to soften the background edges so the fake letters blended, softly into the green paper.

This is the second time American Communists have been comfortable preaching, parading and plotting without hiding behind front groups shouting "Peace" and "Equality" and pretending their real name and aim is something like "Milk for Bulgarian Babies." Before World War II, being a Communist was fashionable. It made you a kind of automatic moral giant. Journalist Lincoln Steffens returned to America from the brand-new Soviet Union and declared, "I have seen the future, and it works!"

On Nov. 4, 2010, as soon as the election results were in and they were sure their candidate had won, faculty administrators at Oregon State University gave new meaning to the term "political payback."

They initiated an attack on my three children - Joshua, Bethany and Matthew - for the purpose of throwing them all out of the OSU graduate school, despite their outstanding academic and research accomplishments. OSU is a liberal socialist Democrat stronghold in Oregon that received a reported $27 million in earmark funding from my opponent, Peter DeFazio, and his Democrat colleagues during the last legislative session.

Pieces of U.S. State Department diplomatic correspondence have been referring to the Hezbollah terrorist organization as a "resistance" group, according to cables released by WikiLeaks and reviewed by WND.

Still, a State Department cable from the U.S. embassy in Damascus referred to Hezbollah's "armed resistance" against the Jewish state. Read the cable: "U.S.-Syrian discussions on Hezbollah have tended to 'agree to disagree' after hitting the wall of conflicting views on the legitimacy of armed resistance and Israeli occupation."

WASHINGTON -- A 13-month-old baby girl was found by herself crying inside a tent at the Occupy DC encampment at McPherson Square Wednesday, and is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Her father faces attempted child neglect charges after leaving her there alone. Some Occupy protesters heard the baby crying Wednesday morning near the edge of the park bordering K Street. They opened a tent flap and found the girl alone and dressed only in a onesie. The protesters notified National Park Police that a child had been abandoned, said Kelly Canavan, who sleeps every night at McPherson Square and volunteers in the Occupy DC information tent.

Mobile police have arrested one member of the mob. But they only expect to make three more arrests.

Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich says her office met with the U.S. Attorney, FBI and the police department about the Matthew Owens beating case. They want the feds to decide whether a hate crime was committed. Owens was beaten by a mob of 20 people Saturday night across the street from his sister's house on Delmar Drive. Despite witnesses telling News 5 that one of the attackers said "This is justice for Trayvon" after the beating, police say the shooting of the unarmed teenager in Samford, Florida was not the reason for this attack.

Walter Reed hospital workers receive furlough notices

Hospital officials say that some employees at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda have already received notice that they'll be furloughed without pay for 11 days - one day a week for the next 11 weeks.

ABC7 has confirmed the region's two military hospitals are furloughing more than 3,500 civilian employees who care for the nation's wounded warriors, nearly their entire civilian staffs. The impacted employees are from departments across the board at both hospitals, including members of the trauma team, physical therapists and nurses. They will be forced to take 11 unpaid furlough days starting in July.

California already has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation and if the state's extremist Democrats get their way, they are going to make those laws even harder on law abiding citizens.

Democrats are sending several new, highly restrictive laws to Governor Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown in hopes of further limiting Californian's Second Amendment rights. As Bloomberg News reports, the new laws would "outlaw semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines, ban adapters to convert magazines to high-capacity clips, order safety certification to buy any gun and require ownership records for all firearms."
