The NSA has been illegally storing email contact lists of up to 500,000 new people per day - for years. This means the NSA is essentially now aware of almost everyone you communicate with.

This makes surveillance of groups (like the Tea Party or the liberty movement) extremely simple to monitor. This has NO congressional authorization, and is stealing your contact list - which is a simple violation of the 4th Amendment, once again. Earlier this year, we found out that the NSA had been keeping track of browsing history, searches, FB messages, phone calls, and almost every other form of electronic communication.

A Florida man was sentenced to 27 months - more than two years - in prison for threatening a member of Congress. His defense? "I very often watch the recycled news shows on MSNBC," he said when he was sentenced.

Eric Lawrence Pidrman, 66, of Spring Hill, Florida told investigators he was in an "alcoholic blackout" when he contacted the office of GOP Representative Ginny Brown-Waite. According to an online report at the Tampa Bay Tribune, "he had 27 people who would make sure she 'doesn't live to see her next term.'" When he was questioned in April, Pidman told investigators he was upset by allegations of threats made against Democrats during the health care debate and vowed to get even. "Let me scare one of those righties," he said.

On Sunday, documentary filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch alleged multiple instances of police brutality at the "Million Vets March" in Washington, D.C.

According to Lynch, he and "several women" were assaulted by police during the protest. "I had words with one cop who hit me," he wrote on his Facebook page. Lynch said the incident happened after protesters brought barricades to the White House.

On Friday, Jonah Goldberg of the National Review Online said that Barack Obama confessed to purposefully hurting average Americans in order to score cheap political points against Republicans.

Last week, Goldberg wrote another column accusing Obama of "deliberately trying to make the lives of average Americans worse just so he could score ideological and political points." He also cited the statement made to the Washington Times by an anonymous Park Ranger who admitted being given orders to inflict pain on Americans.

On Tuesday, October 8, I participated in a New York Times debate about the effects of the government shutdown and budget sequestration.

"What federal spending are we better off without?" asked the Times of analysts from the left, right, and libertarian parts of the ideological spectrum. "What have we learned, seven months into sequestration and one week into a government shutdown?" Here's my answer...

Were you expecting this Fourth Turning to fizzle out? We are approaching the point where someone does something stupid and all hell will break loose.

In the 1860s a citizen could walk into the White House. Today a citizen would be mowed down by the president's mercenary army. Of course, we know DHS considers all veterans as potential domestic terrorists. The regeneracy moment has been delayed by the unprecedented actions taken by the corrupt corporate fascist establishment since September 2008. The massive money printing campaign by the Federal Reserve and Keynesian government debt financed spending only temporarily deferred our meeting with destiny. I believe the revelations of mass spying on the American people by Edward Snowden is the trigger for the regeneracy. There are now a growing vocal number of Americans who no longer trust their government.

Obama must be the biggest hypocrite ever.

Senior al-Qaida leader Abu Anas al-Libi was captured by U.S. Special Forces earlier this week under the authorization of a Bush-era military law that President Obama recently criticized and vowed to repeal. Amid Libyan concerns about the raid, Secretary of State John Kerry justified al-Libi's abduction in Tripoli as a fair use of the Authorization for Use of Military Force, or AUMF.

Let the healing begin.

Sen. John McCain said Thursday that he's worried about the Republican Party's future and the infighting that is dividing it, calling efforts by conservatives to unseat incumbent Republican lawmakers "wrong." The famously wry McCain, R-Ariz., said he regretted calling the Tea Party wing of the Republican Senate conference "wacko birds" during budget negotiations, saying he's learned to "never get personal" in political disputes...

After saying he would put his country first despite the impact to his career, actor James Woods received the usual hate from liberals on Twitter, Twitchy reported Thursday, some of whom also expressed a desire to see him and members of the Tea Party dead.

"[G]o away and die old man," one person tweeted. Twitchy said Woods has been "brutally honest" in criticizing President Obama and his supporters. "Every decision this administration makes inures to its voter base with total disregard to the welfare of the nation as a whole," he tweeted in September. According to the UK Guardian, the actor said Hollywood would turn its back on him after a stream of anti-Obama tweets. "I don't expect to work again," he said. "I think Barack Obama is a threat to the integrity and future of the Republic. My country first."
