Aside from the technical glitches plaguing the ObamaCare exchanges, there's some fine print on these government websites that has some people concerned.

As reported by The Weekly Standard, an individual who signs up is asked to check a box, agreeing to terms and conditions of the privacy policy, like you would see when signing up for a bank account or a credit card. But the fine print contains this line: "we may share information provided in your application with the appropriate authorities for law enforcement and audit activities."

Remember the "phony scandal" that involved the IRS purposefully targeting Tea Party groups, Christians and anyone else who disagreed with Barack Obama?

Turns out, according to a report at the Daily Caller, IRS Obamacare officials discussed confidential taxpayer information with senior Obama White House officials, according to emails obtained by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

President Barack Obama told reporters at the White House on Tuesday that he will discuss the future of his Affordable Care Act with Republican opponents in the House of Representatives only once Congress re-opens the United States government.

At the start of the second week of a widespread government shutdown, Pres. Obama warned House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) during his Tuesday afternoon address that the White House won't negotiate the fate of the president's hallmark "Obamacare" legislation. One week earlier, a stalemate in Congress was unable to be resolved ahead of a Tuesday morning deadline required to pass a spending bill that would have kept the government fully functioning. Republican critics of Obamacare refused to authorize any budget plan without ensuring the congressionally approved health care act would be defunded.

Their real crime is not going along with the spending club.

You may remember the scene in Animal House where Kevin Bacon plays a fraternity pledge being hazed. Down on all fours getting paddled, Bacon says, "Thank you sir, may I have another?" The political establishment is trying to haze fiscal conservatives in Congress. End the shutdown, they say, and allow President Obama to administer the paddle. A recent story in the Washington Post, for example, focused on how business leaders supposedly want Republicans to be "pragmatic" and not "revolutionary," like Rep. Justin Amash.

Jimmy Kimmel exposes the ignorance of the average American with an on the street interview questioning the preference between the "Affordable Care Act" and "obamacare." Of course, those are two names for the same thing.

Many people didn't seem to be aware of that fact and there were no shortages of opinions on the topic. This is humor, but it speaks volumes as to the reasons why things happen in DC the way they do. The government knows how uniformed Americans are, they play a role in keeping us that way. This healthcare law is a major factor affecting the future of the country and these people don't even know the name.

Someone get these morons a calculator.

There's nothing like the constant propagandizing that comes out of the liberal non-thinktank ThinkProgress. One of their favorite tactics is to drone on and on about some small detail in order to imply a greater narrative, while blithely ignoring very important context that completely undermines their intended misdirection. Here's this week's example...

If Sheila Jackson Lee has the balls to say this then she may know something we don't and this is just the beginning. No one in Congress has ever suggested let alone used those words, martial law, up until now.

Either she is out of her mind, which is highly plausible and most likely here, or she just let the cat out of the bag! Now let's all stay calm let's not jump the gun here and come to crazy theories. Sheila Jackson Lee tends to say things that are completely out of context because she has the reading/ word comprehension of a second grader. The socialists are engaged in heavy fear mongering and scare tactics, she may have said this to get a rise out of people to put pressure on Congress to cave to the emperors demands.

I was listening to Attorney Joe DiGenova this morning on WMAL and he pointed out how the DOJ had recently sent a letter to universities telling them they could ignore the June ruling by the Supreme Court on using race in admissions.

The Supreme Court, in a nearly unanimous ruling, said that universities could use race in admissions but not as a dominant factor. But in this letter the DOJ is instructing universities to continue with the same racial preferences that the Supreme Court had just barred them from using.

The Assad regime in Syria deserves credit for complying with the chemical weapons deal, US Secretary of State John Kerry said after the first high-level meeting with his Russian counterpart since Moscow and Washington agreed on the deal.

Kerry and Russian Foreign Minster Sergey Lavrov met on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Bali, Indonesia on Monday morning. "The process has begun in record time and we are appreciative for the Russian co-operation and obviously for the Syrian compliance," Kerry said. The Secretary of State also said that the US has agreed with Russia to move towards Syria peace talks as soon as possible.
