The annual marketing campaign pushing people to receive flu vaccinations is in full force. CVS Pharmacies is offering a 20% off shopping pass if you purchase a flu vaccine.

As you can see in the screen shot, taken from the CVS website, senior citizens over the age of 65 are being targeted to get the "high-dose" flu vaccine. The FAQ at the CVS website defines the "high-dose" flu vaccine: "Containing four times the amount of antigen (the part of the vaccine that causes the body to produce antibody) in regular flu shots, high-dose flu shots, along with the additional antigen produced, are intended to create a stronger immune response."

America really loathes Washington right now, and that's preposterous: Our Town has done nothing wrong. The people of Washington didn't want this and aren't to blame for it, either. I thought it was the super evil, conservative, NRA members who were quick to pull a gun when someone disagrees with them? Well, we know that's ridiculous.

However, it appears that supporters of the president aren't above pulling a gun on those with different political stances from them. According to WSBTV, two women who were protesting the president, holding signs calling for his impeachment, found themselves staring down the barrel of a gun during their protest.

That stand lasted about two hours as National Park Service rangers blocked the entrances to the privately run Pisgah Inn on the Blue Ridge Parkway after owner Bruce O'Connell decided to reopen his dining room, gift shop and country store at noon Friday for lunch. The federal government had forced the inn, in a leased building on federal land, to shut down at 6 p.m. ET Thursday at the height of fall foliage - and tourism - season.

The UK is channeling part of its military budget on recruiting hundreds of computer experts to constitute the new Joint Cyber Reserve Unit, the country's Defense Secretary, Philip Hammond, announced Sunday.
