The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is clarifying language on background check form 4473 to let would-be gun buyers know that even "legalized" marijuana use bars them from purchasing a firearm.

The clarification comes in light of "the conflict between Colorado law and federal law," which results from the dichotomy of marijuana being legal at the state level but federally unlawful.

President Obama sought to increase the amount of money available for the federal government to spend on former presidents in advance of his White House exit.

The report, which discusses the pensions and other federal benefits offered to former commanders-in-chief by way of the Former Presidents Act, specifies that Obama's 2017 budget proposes a nearly 18 percent hike in appropriations for expenditures of former presidents. He successfully requested an increase in such appropriations for fiscal year 2016.

CONSPIRACY theorists claim two odd cloud sightings are proof the government is secretly still carrying out high-tech weather experiments which officially ceased more than a year ago.

UFO shaped clouds seen over Texas and a strange light seen darting above Indiana have sparked claims the controversial High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) was being restarted. Others believe the two incidents in America could even be down to so-called "cloaked UFOs" when flying saucers are supposedly concealed among clouds.

President-elect Donald J. Trump's promise to deport two million to three million immigrants who have committed crimes suggested that he would dramatically step up removals of both people in the United States illegally and those with legal status.

The Obama administration has estimated that 1.9 million "removable criminal aliens" are in the United States. That number includes people who hold green cards for legal permanent residency and those who have temporary visas. It also includes people who have been convicted of nonviolent crimes such as theft, not just those found guilty of felonies or gang-related violence.

Last week, Facebook faced criticism that the platform's habit for surfacing fake news contributed to the election of Donald Trump - a claim Mark Zuckerberg denied.

Michael, on the other hand, is sourcing an article from the ultra-conservative tabloid USA Supreme, which argues that Clinton might win the number of votes "counted" but will not win the number of votes "cast" because of ignored Republican absentee ballots.

Some prophetic voices believe the nation shifted, spiritually, Oct. 21, 2016, on what may go down as one of the most important days in American history.

Largely unnoticed, 1,000 Native American Indian tribes from the United States and Canada collectively forgave the U.S. government for breaking treaties with their ancestors during a public ceremony on the National Mall. The National Day of Prayer for First Nations, held near the Washington Monument, included intercessory petitions, proclamations and declarations of forgiveness by leaders from All Tribes D.C., a fellowship of Christians representing 1,000 American Indians from the U.S. and Canada.

Yesterday, at the hospital in Germany where I work,we had a meeting about how the influx of muslim immigrants from the middle east is simply unsustainable. Walk in Health Clinics cannot handle emergencies.

Many muslims are refusing treatment by female staff here in Germany. The muslim men make sick, crude comments and overtures to the female staff members, because to them any non-muslim woman is a whore or a future slave. After brief exposure to these cruel, sadistic, female hating beats, we, women, are refusing to go among those animals, especially the muslim men from Africa.

Just imagine how in the dark we would be regarding this election specifically, and frankly the world generally, if it weren't for social media. It's on Facebook, Twitter and other outlets where stories generally first break, where we see in real time ...

However, every once in awhile you come across something so perfectly on point that it must be shared, and you wonder why our own pundits and our own party leaders are incapable of summing this up. (Well, we know the answer, but we won't get into that now). In any event, this exposé of Donald Trump was posted on Facebook and in my humble opinion, it's spot on. Give it a read and see if you agree. Last night a friend claimed that Donald Trump wouldn't make a good president; he is brash, he is racist, he is a loudmouth; you know the normal things people learn to recite after being programmed by television news. The one I loved was that, "Trump is arrogant." My friend questioned if one man could make "that much difference in the world today." To my friend's credit, she was respectful enough to let me respond when she asked, "Really, what has Trump done?"
