Guns purchased legally in the United States this year could outfit two armies - and not just any armies, the armies of China and India, according to new government reports cited by a website for sport-shooting enthusiasts.

The federal National Instant Criminal Background Check System database statistics show there were more than 3.7 million background checks during the first three months of this year, compared to about 8 million annually not even a decade ago. "You also bought 1,529,635,000 rounds of ammunition in just the month of December."

She's the fierce blond attorney behind Obama eligibility lawsuits, a successful dentist with two offices, a second-degree black belt and a mother of three boys who speaks five languages.

Asked what motivates her continue fighting the eligibility battle, Taitz replied, "I feel that this man is arrogantly spitting in the face of each and every American citizen. I feel like he has just spit in my face. I take it personally that he is trampling on our Constitution and on our laws."

A pair of bills introduced in the U.S. Senate would grant the White House sweeping new powers to access private online data, regulate the cybersecurity industry and even shut down Internet traffic during a declared "cyber emergency."

Senate bills No. 773 and 778, introduced by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.V., are both part of what's being called the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, which would create a new Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor, reportable directly to the president and charged with defending the country from cyber attack.

The White House and the Democratic Congress are preparing to ram Obama's massive budget blueprint down our throats as early as next week.

According to figures from the Heritage Foundation, before the recession, federal spending totaled $24,000 per household. Under President Obama's plan, federal spending will rise to $32,000 per household over the next 10 years. Obama will be long gone, but we will be saddled with this permanent increase. Just how much can you, your children and your grandchildren bear?

Wikipedia, the online "free encyclopedia" mega-site written and edited entirely by its users, has been deleting within minutes any mention of eligibility issues surrounding Barack Obama's presidency...

A perusal through Obama's current Wikipedia entry finds a heavily guarded, mostly glowing biography about the U.S. president. Some of Obama's most controversial past affiliations, including with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and former Weathermen terrorist Bill Ayers, are not once mentioned.

Republican Martinez implies constitutional requirement for presidency can be bypassed...

"This is frightening in its implications and should alarm every freedom-loving American and military member. I myself am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force (1979-84). Senator Martinez has said, in essence, that it doesn't matter what the laws are or what the Constitution says. If the people elected him, Obama is president - period."

Internet giant America Online headlined its daily news coverage today with a story and polls covering the "Birthers," a group of people it describes as "fringe conservatives convinced that Barack Obama is ineligible to be president..."

The AOL coverage quotes an extensive Politico article and cites WorldNetDaily as the source for news on the United States Justice Foundation's most recent attempt to demand Obama give legal evidence of his constitutional eligibility to serve as president.

A California lawsuit seeking documentation from Occidental College that could verify the nationality under which Barack Obama entered the school points out that the state formerly reviewed presidential candidates and disqualified those who were ineligible

Defense lawyers for Obama are trying to quash the request for Occidental records, arguing that any objections to Obama's presidential candidacy and victory should have been raised in Congress at the time of the Electoral College vote.

A Democrat who served as deputy attorney general in PA and now is leading a number of lawsuits over the eligibility of Obama to occupy the Oval Office - not only is Obama not eligible to be president, he's probably an illegal alien and should be deported.

The U.S. Constitution, meanwhile, demands that occupants of the White House qualify as "natural born" citizens. Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. Several of the cases have involved emergency appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court in which justices have declined to hear arguments.

After President Obama's illegal alien aunt defied deportation orders, one group has filed an arrest request with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is publicly demanding that the president deport her.

Onyango, revealed in November to be dwelling on Flaherty Way in a South Boston slum, has been living in the United States illegally, and refusing to leave the U.S. for her Kenyan homeland after a judge rejected her request for asylum in 2004.
