At the federal level, the functions of the executive branch pertain to both domestic and foreign policy.

I have already explained how I think government in general should be greatly decentralized stateside with a focus on County rights first, then States, then a very limited federal instrument-in other words, true federalism. For this reason, we need not really discuss how we were once free in these regards, for we have already largely described it in so many ways. We have also already covered most of the fall into tyranny in this regard-particularly with welfare, taxation, and the military-so we will reserve comments in this regard to the two most dangerous stateside issues: the abuses of executive orders and administrative law. These will appear in the next section.

Instead of "Danged if I know!" Dr. Rice is perfectly able to speak educated English, and with her Oxford doctorate she fully understands the many levels of treachery revealed by the Benghazi assault on 9/11/12 -- the 11th anniversary of the biggest attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor.

The Obama re-election campaign tactics are now approaching near-hysterical levels with the unleashing of the White House's pawn Harry Reid accusing Mitt Romney of not paying any taxes over the past ten years, claiming some anonymous source.

He and the other re-election mouthpieces claim that it is up to Romney to prove the charges false in an obvious ploy to force him to release 10-plus years of tax returns so their "truth squads" can rummage through to find any nugget they can demagogue into portraying Romney as a out-of-touch rich guy not paying his fair share. This and many more attempted smears are on the horizon, as Barack Obama cannot win re-election without destroying his opponent, as he has done in virtually all his previous campaigns for public office. This is particularly true this year, as the facts underlying his stewardship of the economy are devastating.

The Hill refers to it as a "bombshell" and it is that. It's a letter quoting from a wiretap applications that details exactly what Fast and Furious was all about.

The wiretap applications are under court seal, and releasing such information to the public would ordinarily be illegal. But Issa appears to be protected by the Speech or Debate Clause in the Constitution, which offers immunity for Congressional speech, especially on a chamber's floor. According to the letter, the wiretap applications contained a startling amount of detail about the operation, which would have tipped off anyone who read them closely about what tactics were being used.

In making the case for judicial review, Chief Justice John Marshall pointed out that judges take a sworn oath to uphold the laws of the United States.

Until last month, it would have been unnecessary to stress that he was obviously referring to actual laws, not the unfulfilled fantasies of a lone member of Congress. Nevertheless, on July 7, in a case largely ignored by the media, dissenting Justices Breyer, Ginsburg, Sotomayor and Kagan carried judicial activism to new heights by advocating a stay of execution on the basis of an imaginary law. They thereby revealed themselves to be so desperate to save barbaric murderers that they unashamedly and brazenly sought to apply un-enacted legislation introduced on June 14 by one senator, Patrick Leahy, with not a single cosponsor and by no representative at all.

Americans must to decide if, in the name of homeland security, they are willing to allow TSA operatives to storm public places in their communities with no warning, pat them down, and search their bags.

The TSA clearly intends for these out-of-nowhere swarms by its officers at community transit centers, bus stops and public events to become a routine and accepted part of American life. The TSA has conducted 8,000 of these security sweeps across the country in the past year alone, TSA chief John Pistole told a Senate committee June 14. They are part of its VIPR (Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response) program, which targets public transit related places. All of which is enough to make you wonder if we are watching the formation of the "civilian national security force" President Obama called for on the campaign trail "that is just as powerful, just as strong and just as well funded" as the military.

Today Americans for Prosperity (AFP) the nation's largest and most effective advocate for economic freedom released the following statement calling on governors to reject the state-based health insurance exchanges.

"Governors should join the growing chorus in sending a strong message to Washington that their states will not implement these flawed health insurance exchanges" said Nicole Kaeding, AFP state policy manager. "Exchanges raise prices on consumers and increase taxes on hardworking families." Multiple governors have announced this week that they will not create an exchange. It's funny how we learn about the pitfalls of Obamacare, just months before the program begins.

This week, the IRS confirmed, "a household earning an annual income that is just $1 more than 400 percent of the Federal Poverty Level is ineligible for an Obamacare subsidy, period." The Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, requires all Americans to obtain health insurance, whether from their employer, or an exchange orchestrated by their state. How much you pay for your healthcare strictly parallels your annual income. In some cases, if your annual income increases just $1, your health-insurance premiums could increase $9,355 per year.
