You're probably familiar with ".com" and ".org." How about ".oops"?

A technical glitch forced the abrupt shutdown of a system for letting companies and organizations propose new Internet domain name suffixes. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, which is in charge of domain names, said some private data may have been exposed.

Hillary Clinton finally faced down her critics on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee last week.

She fired back at Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) when he tried to get her to acknowledge that the entire story of an anti-Islamic video inflaming mobs who then murdered Amb. Chris Stevens and three other brave Americans in Libya had been, to put it charitably, wholly unsubstantiated. All along, Hillary had acted as if this was someone else's issue. She was, after all, the Secretary of State who gets "1.43 million cables come into my office" a week. They're all addressed to me, she petulantly shot back. Now, just for a moment, let's consider that statement. Can she really mean she has put in place no system for determining what she must see? She describes a process she allowed to stay in place for four long years that apparently is like drinking from a fire hose. No, that would be 1.43 fire hoses.

Volunteer fire departments all across the U.S. could find themselves out of money and unable to operate unless Congress or the Obama Administration exempts them from the Affordable Care Act.

'I thought the kinks were worked out of Obamacare at the first of the month, Central Florida volunteer firefighter Carl Fabrizi told Sunshine State News. 'Man, oh, man, this could potentially destroy some real good companies in Florida.' The U.S. Department of Labor takes the term 'volunteer' literally, but the IRS says volunteer firefighters are technically employees if they're on the job more than 30 hours per week, making them subject to Obamacare's employee-mandate rules.

The Israel of the past decade seems to have become more committed to a stance that often seems discordant with the best impulses and stated ideals behind its modern origins.

My father was raised as a Zionist, going to Jabotinsky-inspired summer camps in Europe before the Nazis ran his family out of Austria. His aunt was blown up on the Patria in Haifa harbor. Of the few relatives who survived the war, a couple made their way to Israel. When I was a little boy, as I suspect was the case with you.

Meet abortion provider Merle Hoffman, who has her own way of marking the Roe v. Wade anniversary.

In 2004, Planned Parenthood began selling T-shirts emblazoned with the declaration, "I Had An Abortion." This was part of its campaign to "demystify and destigmatize" the practice. Prominent abortion advocates felt at the time that their movement had grown too timid.

Robert Wiedemer's new book, "Aftershock: Protect Yourself and Profit in the Next Global Financial Meltdown," quickly is becoming the survival guide for the 21st century.

With daily economic forecasts projecting doom and gloom and no recovery in sight, people need to learn how to survive economic disaster. During the past quarter alone, unemployment skyrocketed to 9 percent. Inflation continues to soar and the U.S. national debt crisis is still on the fence between raising the debt ceiling or massive budget cuts, with no resolution in sight.

An FBI raid over the weekend that rescued 105 children from sex trafficking is shining new light on an at-risk group: foster kids.

People all over the country and right here in the Ozarks cringed when they heard the news-- more than 100 children in sex trafficking rescued over the weekend by federal agents. For some this was even more sickening-- 60% of sexually exploited children come right out of social services and foster homes. Foster parents all over the Ozarks are well aware this happens... and working tirelessly to make sure it doesn't happen to their kids.

Sheherazad Ja'Afari, a U.N. based press attache in New York for the Syrian mission to the UN, exposes more about the American media and its capacity to be influenced by 'liberal guilt' in one email than conservative news sites could accomplish in a year.

Last night, hackers associated with the loose collective 'Anonymous' leaked the emails from the inboxes of 78 staffers from the mail server of the Syrian Ministry of Presidential Affairs, revealing some interesting observations about the American media.

The great-grandchildren of the woman who once served as Aunt Jemima filed a class action suit seeking royalty back payments.

The suit, which also names as defendants Pinnacle Foods and its former suitor Hillshire Brands, accuses the companies of failing to pay Harrington and her heirs an "equitable fair share of royalties" from the pancake mix and syrup brand that uses her likeness and recipes. According to the lawsuit, Quaker Oats took control of "64 of [Harrington's] recipes and 22 complete menus" and marketed them to the public.

Those who think President Obama's tax hikes will spare the middle class are only deluding themselves.

We have heard many times from President Barack Obama how he plans to raise taxes on "millionaires and billionaires," but not on the middle class. Apparently, if you don't happen to be a millionaire or billionaire, you don't have to worry. But the numbers say otherwise -- and say so big time. The actual tax increase plans being proposed by Obama do not start with people who have an income of a million dollars a year.
