EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA -- Kindergarten and preschool lesson plans are now available to homeschoolers and parents who want to help their children with early reading skills.

The program focuses on reading and writing skills. The lesson plans also inspire creativity and draw from a wide variety of subject areas from the traditional preschool and kindergarten curriculum.

Jonathan Turley, a professor at George Washington University, will say President Obama is trampling the founders' vision for the country in his push to circumvent Congress, and he will demand Republicans and Democrats alike forget their party labels to unify against this White House's power grab.

Pres. Obama is asking public school teachers to "take it easy" on black students who misbehave.

On July 26, 2012, Obama signed an Executive Order to create the African American Education Initiative. The order births a new federal bureaucracy and effectively offers black students a green light to misbehave at school. Obama asked public school teachers to reduce the number of disciplinary actions taken against black students. Specifically, it calls on schools to "not rely on methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools." The order, however, does not include any suggestions to improve black students' inappropriate behavior. Members of the new bureaucracy will work to pressure public school systems into complying with the president's order. To do that, public schools must utilize a quota system.

You should consider using a high quality back-packing type of bag as oppose to a book bag that you would use for school. Back packing type bags are specifically designed for outdoor use. They are also designed in such a way so that the weight of your bag is properly and evenly distributed throughout your hips, back, chest and shoulders. This is done through the use of straps and buckles. Make sure you learn the right way to strap your bag on before going out.

Absolutely no one I know is satisfied with the education their children are getting in public schools. But most of the people I talk to with young kids have two parents that work full time outside the house and are unable to homeschool their children.

As dissatisfaction with the U.S. public school system grows, apparently so has the appeal of homeschooling. Educational researchers, in fact, are expecting a surge in the number of students educated at home by their parents over the next ten years, as more parents reject public schools.

A state legislator in St. Louis County has sponsored gun legislation for the State of Missouri. Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City, is sponsoring SB 124, the Rat Your Kid Out or Rat Yourself Out Act.

Among the key provisions of the Act: 1.This act creates the offense of failing to stop illegal firearm possession. A person commits the offense if he or she is the parent or guardian of a child under the age of 18, he or she knows the child possesses a firearm in violation of the law, and he or she fails to stop the possession or report it to law enforcement. 2.This act also creates the offense of negligent storage of a firearm. A parent or guardian of a child under the age of 18 commits the offense by recklessly storing or leaving a firearm in a manner that is likely to result in the child accessing the firearm if the child obtains access to the firearm and unlawfully carries it to school, kills or injures another person with it, or commits a crime with it. 3.This act requires a parent or guardian to notify a school district, or the governing body of a private or charter school, that he or she owns a firearm within 30 days of enrolling the child in school or becoming the owner of a firearm.

Study reveals Republicans leaving Party mainly over "lesser of two evils" argument

In July of this year, a research group, The Frontier Lab, released a revealing study called "Switching Behavior: Modeling Disaffiliation by Republicans from the Label 'Republican.'"

The Frontier Lab study includes both conservative and moderate Republicans, and identified four key events that prompted individuals to "disaffiliate" from the party. One was the rejection of the "lesser of two evils" argument-the argument that voters had to support a bad Republican because the Democratic candidate would invariably be worse. Both conservatives and moderates are tired of the "two evils" argument. . . . A second reason is closely related. Parting conservatives have expressed "loss of hope" in the party, but not just a general loss of hope-loss of hope specifically that by enduring the lesser of two evils tactic over time, the classic promise of that argument would materialize. That is, over time, and after many abuses, these people have lost hope that the party would change or effect change as promised. As director Anne Sorock puts it in the study, these people "often experienced an emotional exhaustion wherein they no longer felt hope that the party would deliver."

Thus saith, at least, 25 professors on the faculty of the University of Iowa, who penned a short letter of protest to the campus news, IowaNow, for daring to allow a fellow faculty member to publish any doubt whatsoever upon "the *fact* that life on Earth has evolved" (my emphasis). Indeed, this university's band of thought police has decreed that no debate of this topic is allowed anymore: "we no longer debate the central principles of evolutionary theory..."

Civil rights leader: "what kind of a n--r wouldn't vote with a black man running?" And, All white folks going to hell.

We told you last night about the radio ads put out by an anti-Amendment One group, declaring that Tuesday's ballot issue on charter schools was an effort to recreate an educational system that separates black and white students.

Lowery said Obama lost Georgia by 200,000 votes in 2008 while 390,000 black folks in Georgia did not vote. "I don't know what kind of a n-- wouldn't vote with a black man running," said Lowery. "All that he did with the stimulus was genius. Nobody intelligent would risk this country with Romney." . . . Lowery said that when he was a young militant, he used to say all white folks were going to hell. Then he mellowed and just said most of them were. Now, he said, he is back to where he was. "I'm frightened by the level of hatred and bitterness coming out in this election," said Lowery.
