The Old Media is getting a little help from team Obama on how to report about Obamacare the "correct" way.

To achieve that goal, Obama operatives are setting up propaganda symposiums for journalists and giving large cash donations to journalism associations to help spread Obama's word. This Obamacare propaganda campaign seriously blurs the line between government and "journalism" and seems to be a blatant attempt by team Obama to write the media's Obamacare stories for them.

The decision over whether or not to charge NBC's David Gregory for allegedly breaking Washington D.C.'s strict gun-banning laws on a December 23 broadcast of Meet the Press is now in the hands of the D.C. Attorney General, authorities reported Tuesday.

The D.C. Police kicked the case upstairs, pushing the investigation into a new phase. Chief Cathy Lanier released an email that said, in part, that her department had "completed the investigation into this matter, and the case has been presented to the OAG for a determination of the prosecutorial merit of the case." The case is now in the hands of Attorney General Irvin B. Nathan, who's office oversees prosecutions of "low-level offenses." A spokesman for the office said they would not comment until their decision had been made.

Proving that MSNBC's Chris Matthews sees a race card in every issue, on Monday the cable show host equated observing fiscal common sense with being a southern segregationist and racist.

During a year-in-review show on Monday, Dec.31, Matthews chimed in with Former Newsweek editor Howard Fineman in a discussion of why Mitt Romney lost his bid to take the White House last November wherein Fineman said one of Romney's problems was that Romney was "Grover Norquist-ing himself" by hewing too closely to a fiscally conservative message on taxes and the budget. That is where Matthews equated fiscal conservatism to racism.

A New Hampshire legislator wants her constituents to know that she feels conservatives are the "single biggest threat" her state faces today, and she wants to use her powers to legislate to "pass measures that will restrict" the freedoms of conservatives.

In a blog post made last month on the left-wing site Blue Hampshire, 3rd District State Representative Democrat Cynthia Chase advised her fellow legislators to use their positions to make New Hampshire less welcoming to any conservative or libertarian planning on moving to her state-not to mention those already in residence. For those unaware, a conservative project of sorts has been underway in New Hampshire since 2001. The idea is that Americans of conservative ideals are to move to New Hampshire, gather in communities, run for office, and work to drive the state toward libertarianism and conservatism. It is called the "Free State Project" and adherents are called "Free Staters."

NBC's David Gregory hosted the President on Sunday's Meet the Press--and compared to his last notable interview, when he verbally attacked NRA President Wayne LaPierre at every turn, Gregory was virtually asleep this weekend.

Unfortunately, Gregory's mostly timid questions and Obama's rambling answers gave us nothing new. The only real pointed question that Gregory asked Obama was over Susan Rice. But even there he asked the question in the meekest manner possible. Gregory asked: "Do you feel like you let your friend Susan Rice hang out there to dry a little bit?" The equivocation of "a little bit" was far more consideration than the badgering Gregory offered LaPierre.

Here in the waning days of this campaign for the White House, Politico reports that many journalists, editors, and news personnel have donated thousands to Barack Obama's reelection campaign.

Politico gives us a long list of Obama supporters in the news biz. The first noted is The Wall Street Journal's Paul Levy ($225), who calls Romney a "dangerous religious freak whose election will cripple America." Also supporting team Obama are the New York Daily News' deputy managing editor for news Dersh Kuntzman ($250), ESPN Sportscaster Stuart Scott ($25,000), Reuters editor Joseph Graf ($250), Newark Ledger-Star photojournalist John Munson ($182.50), MediaCity editor Veronica Combs, Slate's Katherine Goldstein ($252), Cyndi Stivers, editor of the Columbia Journalism Review and Columbia Journalism School faculty member ($250), and Bloomberg reporter Edmund Lee ($2,000). This is, of course, just a tiny list. There are thousands of folks in the news and information business that consistently donate to Democrats and liberal causes.

MSNBC's Ed Schultz proved himself gullible enough to fall for the false story that Mitt Romney's son Tagg owns voting machines in Ohio and that he is somehow making sure that the vote in that important swing state goes the right way.

A new study by the Pew Research Center finds that two thirds of social media users are also active in politics.

The study found that 66 percent of adult social media users (which is 39 percent of all U.S. adults) had promoted political or socio-political issues, and one third used their social media to post their own opinions and to share content about political matters. 35 percent used their social media to urge others to vote, and 28 percent have used tools to to post links to stories or articles on politics. Pew found that the conservative and liberal social media users were most apt to do the latter.

Last week a story appeared at The Wall Street Journal's Washington Wire blog that claimed President Obama packed 18,000 people into a Wisconsin arena that only sports 5,000 seats.

At the time it was posted, the Journal did not offer a source for the 18,000 attendee count, but Tuesday there has been an addition updating that source. Now, according to Washington Wire, that source has been identified as Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. The Wall Street Journal wasn't the only news outlet that blindly regurgitated the 18,000 attendee claim. Politico and the Associated Press both used the seemingly impossible number.

CNN has finally revealed the "source familiar with Ambassador Stevens' thinking" upon which it based much of its reporting in the week following the attack on our embassy in Benghazi and the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens.

That "source" was his own, handwritten journal--and CNN used it for its reportage despite the wishes of Stevens's family. On Friday, September 21, CNN host Anderson Cooper made the admission on his Anderson Cooper 360 show saying that much of the "information was found in a personal journal of Ambassador Stevens in his handwriting"...
