The overwhelming majority of our advertisers never serve an ad that violates our policies and terms. But occasionally we see violations, and on very rare occasions, our systems wrongly detect an ad as being in violation of policy.

I wanted to explain why this happens and what you can do if it happens to you. Ads help fund businesses across the web, and enable people everywhere to enjoy their favorite services and content, often for free. Yet, bad online advertising practices - like spammy emails, deceptive or misleading ads, and worse - quickly ruin users' experiences online and discourage people from using the web. As a result, we all have a vested interest in fighting these bad ads with serious firepower. Last year, of the billions of ads submitted to Google we disabled more than 130 million, and reduced the percentage of bad ads by more than 50% compared with the year before. These are big numbers, but we're doing what's necessary to deliver a safe, trustworthy experience that meets our highest standards.

On "This Week with George Stephanopolous" yesterday, Senator Rand Paul and Professor Paul Krugman got into a quick argument about the size of government under President Obama.

So what are the facts? It depends on whether you're looking at the federal workforce or the total government workforce. The number of federal employees has risen under President Obama. There were 2,790,000 federal workers in January 2009 when the president took office, and now there are 2,804,000 workers. The fact is that there is no month during President Obama's term when the federal workforce was smaller than it was in the first month of Mr. Obama's presidency. The president took over in January 2009. Every month after January 2009 has seen more federal workers than were employed in January 2009.

It's probably President Obama's most politically effective line of attack against Mitt Romney.

The president argues that it was the unchecked, reckless, casino capitalism of the George W. Bush years - bank deregulation, tax cuts for the rich - that lead to the nation's worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. And if Mitt Romney is elected in November, the Republican will bring those policies right back, risking another financial collapse. But a book by Robert Hetzel, a senior economist at Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, says it wasn't Bushonomics or greedy bankers or broken markets that caused the Great Recession. In "The Great Recession: Market Failure or Policy Failure", Hetzel pins the blame squarely on the Federal Reserve and Team Bernanke.

APHIS announced it intended to issue permits to sugar beet seed producers authorizing seedling production under strict permit conditions that would not allow flowering.

APHIS issued four "non-flowering" permits with appropriate environmental and permitting documentation. The move didn't sit well with environmental groups opposing biotech crops. An environmental coalition filed a lawsuit on Sept. 9 challenging the issuance of permits to sugar beet seed producers.

Because in real terms (adjusted for inflation) you literally are poorer, with pretty much each passing day.

Even those with significant assets are hurting. Keeping up with inflation was, most of the time, not terribly difficult. A cd at the local bank was often enough. But now, with interest rates at historic lows it is very difficult to find low risk yield. It's either get into the market or get left behind. Grandma shouldn't be in the market, especially the way it is now. What we see here is the Federal Reserve keeping the debt game going. This is good for the banks, but not so good for nearly everyone else.

Schmeiser never denied his crops contained the patented gene, Roundup Ready canola, but said they were naturally or accidentally cross-pollinated from neighboring farms that purchased the Monsanto gene.

Monsanto subsequently sued Schmeiser, saying at a June trial that cross-pollination could not justify the modified canola gene's being found in nearly 90 percent of his crops.

McCain proudly proclaimed that he had never heard of Agenda 21. That was an interesting comment coming from a senator who co-sponsored the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) which erased all American tariffs.

During this time, the global elite's plan to establish a 11 megacity regions, each containing approximately six million people each was being established under stealth. McCain had a vested interest in lying to his fellow Arizona citizens about the role that his creation, CAFTA, would play in the establishment of the New World Order running amok and swallowing up what would be left of America.

Between December 17-20, 2014, measles arrived at the happiest place on earth and all hell broke loose. Anti-vaxxers were shamed and maligned by everyone from Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel to Dr. Richard Pan.

According to the California Department of Public Health's latest measles surveillance report (3/6/15), since December of 2014, there have been 132 confirmed measles cases reported in California residents out of a population of 38.8 million. 40 cases visited Disneyland during the period in question. 81% were not hospitalized. 56% were over the age of twenty. 18% were between the ages of five to nineteen. 19 cases were between the ages of one through four. 15 cases were under the age of one. This affected exactly 34 kids from birth to age four. Since the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting in December of 2012, there have been 109 school shootings and no legislation. There is no measles epidemic. There is, however, an epidemic of vaccine legislation.

Why does Marie McCormick - former chair of the panel that produced the botched IOM report claiming vaccines do not cause autism - currently serve as co-chair of the "Vaccine Safety Working Group" of the National Vaccine Advisory Council?

Her past remarks should disqualify her from serving on any committees concerned with vaccine regulation as illustrated by the following examples retrieved from the leaked transcripts of the January 12, 2001 closed session of the Immunization Safety Review Committee of the National Academy of Sciences' Institute of Medicine at the National Academies Building in Washington DC. Here is a comment she made in 2001, justifying a preconceived conclusion about autism and vaccines...

That's what millionaire vaccine industrialist Paul Offit said to me following a talk he gave at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is the Maurice R. Hilleman Professor of Vaccinology, endowed by Merck.

But that was not the only abusive thing he said to me. He also called me stupid, lied that I don't have Asperger Syndrome and labeled me with a new diagnosis after again calling me a stalker. Offit's talk was part of Penn's Microbiology Seminar Series sponsored by PENN Infectious Diseases. It was titled "Rotavirus Vaccines: From Bench to Bedside." Throughout the lecture, he talked about the different rotavirus vaccines: RotaTeq, Rotarix and RotaShield - the vaccine pulled for causing intussusception, which is a potentially fatal condition in which the intestine turns inside-out. He even discussed how he was going to lobby to bring back RotaShield in 2000, but that it was already too late and he blamed the harm to RotaShield's reputation on the ensuing controversy over mercury in vaccines. Offit also admitted that his own vaccine, RotaTeq, can cause intussusception.
