The issue of whether someone should vote for the "lesser of two evils" this November has become very contentious in recent months with friends and relatives clashing to the point of creating hard feelings.

Sadly, most Americans don't really recognize that they are being deliberately herded into this direction to keep them in line and "faithful" to either the Democrat or Republican parties. Sun-Tzu is considered one of the greatest military tacticians of all time. I have learned much from studying his strategies as well as Francis Marion aka The Swamp Fox. The herding technique is one of the most effective methods of manipulating those to be conquered into the right direction. I use a bull and cape metaphor on my web site to illustrate this, but basically, this is how it works...

A Christian family has sued a Pennsylvania school district, claiming the state's home education law violates their religious convictions.

Pennsylvania's home-schooling regulations are rigorous, requiring meticulous record-keeping and submission of notarized paperwork on the home schoolers' intended curriculum, a criminal background stipulation, each child's medical information, ongoing progress logs, and the end-of-year progress reports, which must be signed by a third party.

A white teenager who moved from South Africa to America six years ago was suspended from school after nominating himself for a "Distinguished African-American Student of the Year" prize.

Trevor Richards, 16, was accused of "showing disrespect" to black pupils at Westside High School in Omaha, Nebraska. It is thought he is the only pupil to have lived in Africa. He and two friends put up campaign posters showing him making a thumbs-up sign and all three were suspended. "The posters were intended to be satire on the term 'African-American'," said one of his campaign managers, Scott Rambo. The phrase is the current politically correct label for black Americans.

Requires school districts to notify DYFS of certain pupil absences.

If any child enrolled in a school district has an unexcused absence for five consecutive school days, the attendance officer of the district will investigate the absence and notify the district superintendent of the absence. The district superintendent is to notify DYFS for its determination of whether DYFS is or has been involved with the child and whether action, as appropriate, is warranted.

But we are the freest nation in the entire world! Yes, but that's only for the immediate moment!

And it is only because of the cultural constraints placed upon a soon to be totally out-of-control bureaucracy poised for just the right moment! All the necessary 'laws' are now in place! Never mind that they are all completely unconstitutional! And never mind as well that the finishing touches of our unconstitutional "laws" have been finalized and put in place by a "limited government" Republican administration! America is now "legally" a police state!

Sens. Hillary Clinton and John Warner are sponsoring legislation that would enact a national seat belt law, requiring states to pass laws mandating the usage of seat belts or obtaining a 90 percent use rate among citizens.

These days, many choose to rely on government. Capitalizing on that, the Big Daddy government will happily supply the needs, creating a dependent nation. But if the government is daddy and we're the children, as I've said before, there is definitely some child abuse going on - a new era has emerged, causing a few problems.

The News pursued the issue because "important principles [were] at stake" for both the newspaper and the community.

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct is apparently investigating a Buffalo judge who is accused of threatening to retaliate against Western New York's largest newspaper because the publication refused to hold a story about the arrest of a prominent local attorney.

Medical Awareness Project

Nine states have passed legislation legalizing medicinal marijuana.

The Ohio Patient Network is hoping that the Buckeye State will soon join them. But that may be too much to ask of our Republican-dominated state government - even as thousands of ill Ohioans suffer.
