Aided by clueless church members, Occupy Fort Myers sets up on school grounds.

For nine days, Occupiers in Ft. Myers, Florida, took over the grounds of a Unitarian Universalist church and an adjoining preschool, driving out parents, toddlers, and teachers for the week. Unitarian elders originally invited the group to squat on church property after Sheriff Mike Scott ordered them out of the city's Centennial Park for permit issues. But not one of the elders felt obligated to inform the staff of Creative Minds Montessori School, which rents permanent classroom facilities there.

A couple of years ago while in Manhattan my wife and I stayed at the W hotel downtown. Why? Because we had a tremendous urge to stick it to The Man, that's why.

By the time we checked out, a feeling of satisfaction engulfed us because we knew we'd finally gotten even with the upper one percent. It was the kind of warm deliverance from a world of Wall Street greed that only paying hundreds of dollars to a publicly traded corporate hotel chain can provide. As it turns out, we were "Occupiers" before Occupying was cool.

Here's ten minutes of moonbat moshpittery to be filed under "when life imitates South Park."

From what I can gather from the video, Rep. John Lewis (D-issed) showed up to address "Occupy Atlanta," and it was decided that the crowd should take a vote on it because Lewis wasn't on the original schedule. Hilarity ensued in a cloud of "repeat after me." Lewis' attempt to address the gathering was apparently voted down (which would be today's NYT headline if this were a Tea Party) in a show of "jazz hands" from the crowd, and Lewis was on his way...

If turning into the thing you claim to hate was an Olympic event, team Occupy New Hampshire could win as they have decided to incorporate.

The Occupy movement doesn't have a history of being very friendly with corporations. The 'Occupy Olympics' movement has recently done some protesting of what they call the "10-day corporate jamboree" in London, but a select group of occupiers in the U.S. have apparently decided that its a good move to incorporate.

Too bad. I was looking forward to watching the "99er squatting on a police car" float made entirely out of roses, marigolds and a few thousand torn-up deposit slips from Bank of America lead the parade while Miley Cyrus lip-synched Liberty Walk.

The Occupy DC mom who used her two toddlers to block a convention center door amid mayhem says she's not going to stop using her kids as human blockades.

On Nov. 4, when Occupy DC was protesting in front of an Americans For Prosperity (AFP) event at the Washington Convention Center, this Occu-Mom set up her blockade with her two little kids in front of one of the doors. MRCTV captured on video the two distressed toddlers sitting in a toy wagon amidst the police intervention and ensuing pushing and shoving.

New Yorkers who live near the park where anti-Wall Street protesters have been camping out for more than a month are complaining that their quality of life has declined.

At a two-hour meeting Thursday night, some neighbors said protesters urinated in the streets and beat drums in the middle of the night. "They're defecating on our doorsteps," Community Board 1 member Catherine Hughes said. Some neighbors who attended the packed meeting called for the protesters to vacate Zuccotti Park, the concrete plaza where protesters have set up their base camp.

Occupy Wall St. protesters have a long, full day planned to thwart the productivity and progress of others Thursday.

For breakfast, they'll try to "shut down Wall Street." For lunch, they'll "occupy the subways." And for dinner, they'll "take the square" across from City Hall, then close down the Brooklyn Bridge. And, they'll enjoy plenty of music. According to the Occupy Wall Street website, the day's itinerary is...

The incident has highlighted both the use of birth surrogates, a violation of Chinese law, and how wealthy Chinese do as they please, with scant regard for the rules that constrain others. The most common reaction, though, has been simple disbelief.

A couple faces a hearing Monday to regain custody of their children, whom Child Protective Services put into foster care following a confrontation between their mother and a sheriff's deputy.

Nicole and Joe Naugler are facing charges in a case that has prompted an outcry on social media from supporters of their family's "off-the-grid" lifestyle. Neighbor Travis Metcalf isn't buying it. "They're living underneath tarps," he said. "So kinda take it at that."
