Supreme Court rules Drug Companies exempt from Lawsuits

The US Supreme Court also made a ruling on lawsuits against drug companies for fraud, mislabeling, side effects and accidental death. From now on, 80 percent of all drugs are exempt from legal liability.

In a 5-4 vote, the US Supreme Court struck down a lower court's ruling and award for the victim of a pharmaceutical drug's adverse reaction. According to the victim and the state courts, the drug caused a flesh-eating side effect that left the patient permanently disfigured over most of her body. The adverse reaction was hidden by the drug maker and later forced to be included on all warning labels. But the highest court in the land ruled that the victim had no legal grounds to sue the corporation because its drugs are exempt from lawsuits.

"Herd immunity" is the clarion cry to press everyone into vaccination. It's trumpeted by every health agency, in spite of the abject failure of the MMR in both measles and mumps. Even the vaccine's failure is used to demand that everyone be vaccinated.

There is no absurdity too great that it won't be used to press for forced vaccination. The mumps portion of the MMR vaccine is failing, according to Public Health England (PHE). Therefore, according to the Guardian, they say that all those who are unvaccinated should be vaccinated. Seriously! The PHE says: "[S]ome waning immunity may be contributing to transmission." So, the failure of the vaccine is somehow the fault of people who choose not to vaccinate! But the insanity doesn't stop there. During the recent measles outbreak in Wales, the death of a young man was blamed on measles, though it was later admitted that the cause of death was unknown. Now, though, they're returning to the original claim that he did die of measles.

Dr. Diane Harper was the lead researcher in the development of the human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix. She is the latest to come forward and question the safety and effectiveness of these vaccines.

Her speech was supposed to promote the Gardasil and Cervarix vaccines, but she instead turned on her corporate bosses in a very public. At the time of writing, 44 girls are officially known to have died from these vaccines. The reported side effects include Guillian Barré Syndrome (paralysis lasting for years, or permanently - sometimes eventually causing suffocation), lupus, seizures, blood clots, and brain inflammation. Parents are usually not made aware of these risks.

Why does Marie McCormick - former chair of the panel that produced the botched IOM report claiming vaccines do not cause autism - currently serve as co-chair of the "Vaccine Safety Working Group" of the National Vaccine Advisory Council?

Her past remarks should disqualify her from serving on any committees concerned with vaccine regulation as illustrated by the following examples retrieved from the leaked transcripts of the January 12, 2001 closed session of the Immunization Safety Review Committee of the National Academy of Sciences' Institute of Medicine at the National Academies Building in Washington DC. A new study indicates that chickenpox vaccines are contributing to the worsening of herpes zoster (shingles) infections, bringing back to the forefront the question: do these vaccines cause more harm than good?

A new systematic review published in PLoS titled, "Herpes Zoster Risk Reduction through Exposure to Chickenpox Patients: A Systematic Multidiscplinary Review," confirms that the widespread adoption of chickenpox vaccine over the past 30 years, which has resulted in a decline in chickenpox cases associated with infection from the wild-circulating virus, has lead to a concerning increase in the incidents of herpes zoster (shingles), a far more serious expression of chickenpox virus (varicella zoster) infection.

Your child's school knows just about everything about your kid. Now, many school districts are storing all that information in the cloud. InBloom, a cloud-based database system for schools, is storing students' data on their servers.

Non-profit inBloom offers an Internet database service that allows schools to store, track and analyze data on schoolchildren. If you think about it, that information is more than just test scores. It's whether kids receive free lunch -- a telling indicator of the family's finances. It's the time a student got into a fight in the schoolyard. And it could be a child's prescription medication. The upshot of storing all that data in one location is that it can be used to tailor specific curricula to each child. If Johnny's data suggests that he's a tactile learner and he's failing math, inBloom's analytic engine might suggest a particular teaching approach.

That's what millionaire vaccine industrialist Paul Offit said to me following a talk he gave at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is the Maurice R. Hilleman Professor of Vaccinology, endowed by Merck.

But that was not the only abusive thing he said to me. He also called me stupid, lied that I don't have Asperger Syndrome and labeled me with a new diagnosis after again calling me a stalker. Offit's talk was part of Penn's Microbiology Seminar Series sponsored by PENN Infectious Diseases. It was titled "Rotavirus Vaccines: From Bench to Bedside." Throughout the lecture, he talked about the different rotavirus vaccines: RotaTeq, Rotarix and RotaShield - the vaccine pulled for causing intussusception, which is a potentially fatal condition in which the intestine turns inside-out. He even discussed how he was going to lobby to bring back RotaShield in 2000, but that it was already too late and he blamed the harm to RotaShield's reputation on the ensuing controversy over mercury in vaccines. Offit also admitted that his own vaccine, RotaTeq, can cause intussusception.

A journal article published in the June 2013 issue of Clinical Infectious Diseases showed that people who got a flu shot were 5.5 times more at risk for developing another viral respiratory infection!

And, they also found that there was no protection from the immunization from the flu. Hmmm. Want a flu shot? A possible reason for this could be that we don't catch the flu or other respiratory viral infections from injections; we get it from exposure to the mucous membranes of our nose, throat and lungs. The immune response from immunizations is a production of antibodies, but the response from the natural infection is from another arm of the immune system called cellular immunity. These cells engulf viruses and kill them very effectively. Antibodies don't get the job done as well and sometimes don't get the job done at all. Vaccines interfere with the development of cellular immunity...not a good scenario.

Home Birth Safer Than Hospital Birth: Nation-Wide Study Netherlands

Yet another study, this one consisting of every birth in The Netherlands over two years, demonstrates that home births are safer than hospital births. Women are more than twice as lifely to end up in intensive care if they give birth in a hospital!

In The Netherlands, the majority of births occur at home, not in hospitals. A study reported in theBMJ found that women whose pregnancies were low-risk suffered far fewer severe negative outcomes from home than hospital births, especially after the first pregnancy. The study, published 13 June 2013, focused on two serious adverse events: postpartum hemorrhage and manual removal of the placenta, both of which are life-threatening, and also included admission to intensive care, eclampsia, and more than four packed cells in a blood transfusion.
