Vaccination decisions strongly influenced by social networks

A new study exploring the influences behind parents' decision about vaccination found that social networks play a key role. Published in the journal Pediatrics, the study looked at two types of social networks - "people networks," made of family members.

Brunson included 196 first-time parents in the online survey. All were born in the United States and had children aged 18 months or younger. Among the group, 126 "conformers" followed the nationally recommended vaccination schedule, while 70 "nonconformers" either delayed vaccination, didn't vaccinate completely or did not vaccinate at all.

6-week-old boy dies after vaccination

A 6-week-old baby boy died on Friday evening, allegedly after being administered tetravalent vaccine the previous day at a government-run primary health centre near Jalahalli, off Tumkur Road in North Bangalore.

Health officials claimed the vaccine was pentavalent. Denying that it could have caused death, they said any reaction would surface within a couple of hours, not 24 hours later.

POUL THORSEN, 49, of Denmark, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of wire fraud and money laundering based on a scheme to steal grant money the CDC had awarded to governmental agencies in Denmark for autism research.

United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said of the case, "Grant money for disease research is a precious commodity. When grant funds are stolen, we lose not only the money, but also the opportunity to better understand and cure debilitating diseases. This defendant is alleged to have orchestrated a scheme to steal over $1 million in CDC grant money earmarked for autism research. We will now seek the defendant's extradition for him to face federal charges in the United States." "Stealing research grant money to line his pockets, as Poul Thorsen stands accused of here today, cheats U.S. taxpayers and will simply not be tolerated," said Derrick L. Jackson, Special Agent in Charge of the Atlanta Region for the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health & Human Services. "HHS/OIG will continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners to bring these criminals to justice."

A Chinese Air Force General has publicly announced the bird flu is a "bio bomb" weapon launched by the USA, but you won't find that reported in the mainstream media. In fact, the fake media is hardly reporting on this bird flu outbreak at all -- and that.

The FDA continues to do everything in its power to maximize the death toll if such a pandemic is unleashed. This is a form of "vaccine terror" that attempts to achieve maximum casualties in order to scare everybody into buying in to the vaccine hoax. The FDA's strategy for this began in 2004 with the banning of Ma Huang (ephedra), a powerful Chinese Medicine herb that's part of a little-known bird flu defense formula called, "Minor Blue Green Dragon." On November 23, 2004, the FDA unleashed an assault on all dietary supplements containing Ma Huang (ephedra), calling it "dangerous at any dose." This was a complete hoax, of course, given that the FDA routinely allows super deadly pharmaceuticals to remain on the market (Vioxx) even when they kill 50,000 or more Americans. Ma Huang has been used in Chinese Medicine for literally thousands of years with no reports of toxicity.

Measles cases reach 620 in Swansea despite positive vaccination response

Gian Paolo Vanoli, a 70-year-old scientist, journalist and opponent of vaccinations, says that vaccines make people gay.

The vaccine is introduced into the child, the child then grows and tries to find its own personality, and if this is inhibited by mercury or other substances present in the vaccine which enter the brain, the child becomes gay. The problem will especially be present in the next generations, because when gays have children, the children will carry along with them the DNA of their parent's illness. Because homosexuality is a disease, even though the WHO has decided that it is not. Who cares!

Donald Trump's opposition to vaccines is nothing new. Last year, he blamed autism on multiple vaccinations (i.e. children receiving more than one vaccination during a single doctor's visit).

Ironically, his latest anti-vaccine tweet appeared one day after yet another major study debunked the purported link between vaccines and autism: A new study adds to years of research showing that childhood vaccines do not cause autism, despite worries among a growing number of parents that their young children receive "too many vaccines."

Text messages encouraging pregnant women to get an influenza vaccination are ineffective, according to a study published in the April issue of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

In the first study, Michelle Henninger, Ph.D., from Kaiser Permanente Northwest in Portland, Ore., and colleagues surveyed 552 pregnant women who had not already received the influenza vaccine during the 2010 to 2011 influenza season regarding knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs about vaccination. The researchers found that vaccination was predicted by trust in recommended guidelines, perceived sensitivity to influenza, perceived seriousness of influenza, perceived regret about not getting vaccinated, and concerns about vaccine safety.

Once again we find Glenn Kessler doing the honorable, bipartisan work of holding a White House responsible for what they say and do.

And once again, the White House has been caught lying regarding a sequester scare tactic, this time with respect to a claim about the effect a measly 2% budget cut might have on vaccinations: Yet, in raising the alarm about the sequester, the administration has highlighted the decline in vaccinations that it claims would result from sequestration. The White House Web site displays an interactive map, which when you click on Maryland, it declares: "2,050 fewer children will get vaccines for diseases like measles and whopping cough." It's even worse for Virginia: 3,530 children would supposedly be affected.
