WHO Urges Docs to Watch for New SARS-Like Virus

Global health officials have alerted doctors to be on the lookout for a virus related to SARS but said there were no signs the disease was behaving like the respiratory syndrome that killed hundreds in 2003.

The World Health Organization announced this week that a new coronavirus had been found in a critically ill Qatari man who was being treated in London as well as in a Saudi Arabian man who died several months earlier. Genetic sequencing found the viruses in the two men to be nearly identical. The two men might have been infected directly by animals, however, and there was no proof of human-to-human spread of the virus, WHO spokesman Gregory Hartl said Thursday.

In a hard hitting editorial, the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics (IJME) has accused the WHO of promoting Pentavalent vaccine "by stating falsely that no adverse event following immunization (AEFI) has ever been reported with the vaccine."

The journal says this is contrary to facts. The IJME editorial by Dr. Jacob Puliyel, head of pediatrics at St Stephens Hospital in New Delhi, is based on his detailed investigation into the deaths of children in Bhutan, Sri Lanka, India and Vietnam following use of Pentavalent vaccine. This vaccine combines the Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus or DPT vaccine - long used in national immunization programs - with Hepatitis-B and H influenza-b or Hib vaccine.

Last year when the new strain of Neisseria meningitidis, known as W135, broke out in Burkina Faso, infecting more than 13 000 people and killing at least 1500, there was no vaccine.

WHO said that now a new vaccine had been developed by GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals in cooperation with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation "in record time" and was available at 65p ($1.08) a dose so that emergency stockpiles could bought for African countries.<br><br>Similar vaccines have cost four to 50 times as much, but to produce the new vaccine at such a low price a minimum order of six million doses is needed, WHO said.

A WhiteHouse.gov petition calling for the prohibition of laws requiring mandatory vaccines has been throttled by the White House, buried from public view and finally frozen for over 36 hours to prevent the petition from achieving 100,000 signatures.

The petition, which was rapidly headed toward the 100,000 signatures needed to trigger a response from the White House, was frozen mid-day Friday and has remained stuck at 56,791 signatures for over 36 hours.

The White House has officially admitted that fake vaccination programs have been used by the United States as a cover for covertly stealing DNA samples from the public as part of the so-called "war on terror."

This scheme, first unveiled in 2011, is the first time in history that the U.S. government has been forced to admit using a "public health" activity to secretly and illegally harvest DNA from the public in an attempt to assassinate one individual. How exactly could a vaccination program harvest DNA from people? It's a simple matter, really. As The Guardian explains, "nurses could have been trained to withdraw some blood in the needle after administrating the drug."

Tony Katz has an excellent write-up on last week's Rawesome raid, a government action I find absolutely asinine.

Look, I don't care if you want to make the choice to purchased labeled raw dairy or local, organic food. I love to eat massive amounts of homemade beef jerky, young organic coconuts, and oven-baked bacon (don't knock it, only way to do it). I don't want the government busting up in my butcher shop, or any shop, any private facility with proper licensing (copious licensing is soft tyranny) and prevent the private sector, free market exchange of cash for goods. I also don't trust a government that can't find the time to produce a budget, yet can micromanage the citizenry, telling me what I can and cannot eat.

The WHO & UNICEF are taking steps to counter anti-vaccine activism, and some plans are downright scary.

How would you act if you have decided to buy a car? You would probably visit the car showrooms, talk to the salesmen, collect literature on the cars, visit other showrooms, search the internet, talk to people who have purchased cars, exchange ideas with your friends, talk to the mechanics, and find out more from people who have faced problems with a particular brand. You would also be concerned about the performance and the safety features and wonder if they are up to the advertisements and sales pitch. Pretty much normal, is it not? Car manufacturers take it on their stride. They know that this is a typical consumer behaviour pattern. The consumers are choosy, picky, and try to have the best value for money. They have distinct individual needs and choices that have to be met in order to stay afloat and be profitable. The manufacturers respond by manufacturing quality cars that are better than the competitors' and take great care to ensure that both performance and safety aspects are above reproach.

This debate is not about vaccines at all. It's about control. No matter how hard we try, we can't make safe happen. We will always have only a small measure of control over the outcome of our kids health.

This debate is not driven by science. It's driven by fear. Don't get me wrong. There's certainly a lot of science involved in the vaccine debate, but what has motivated the fisticuffs over this issue has little to do with science and everything to do with fear. We are afraid of what might happen to our kids to the point of exhaustion. God's peace overcomes our deepest fears if we'll turn to Him for comfort.

Since implementation of the CDC mass vaccine program we have gone from about 2-3 to about 41-42 on the international infant mortality list. Yes, this means that a high rate of American infants never live to see toddler hood.

Only one major country has a higher infant death rate than the USA. What a disgrace. This alone should be enough to replace blind trust with severe doubt as we consider the health recommendations of our government and medical establishments.
