When the doctors informed me that I needed knee surgery, I was not a happy camper. I knew that along with the knee surgery came physical therapy and enduring long months of recovery time. I've never been one to just sit around, preferring instead to remain active with a wide variety of outdoor activities.
Surgery was not something I wanted to undergo on an elective basis. I guess I figured that God doesn't make junk and my body didn't come from Wal-Mart. It was made to last. I just have to learn how to properly care for it. Any kind of surgery is such a dreaded experience and the outcome is never all that optimistic. The hospital charges an arm and a leg for their services but they refuse to give you a money back guarantee. I wonder why that is?
When I spend $40,000 for a new vehicle, I expect it to meet certain standards. I demand a quality product. Wouldn't it be wonderful if our bodies came with a warrantee? If you are waiting for me to tell you about how to get one, you are out of luck. However, you really don't need one. Our bodies are amazing and when we learn how to properly care for our bodies needs, our bodies function well -- all by themselves.
Well, what about injuries? Accidents happen right? Accidents simply can't be avoided, which is why some of us have bad knees. I know that I abused mine when I was young. I have no one to blame but myself. I've had five surgeries already and my body has been severely abused. I played sports hard as a young adult, then went on to abuse alcohol, causing even more damage.
I'll be honest, I was not happy with the medical services I found available to me, while using the MediCal program. The clinics smelled and left me waiting for hours. As a sufferer of long-term chronic pain, sitting for hours in a cramped waiting room simply isn't an option. So, I found myself in search of alternatives.
I knew that if I had to pay for my own medical care I wanted to pay for a treatment that actually works. I've found many alternative therapies that work quite well and if they were able to help me avoid further surgery, I was all for it. Wouldn't it be terrific if my knee could be healed, without the surgery? Many Chiropractic patients are doing just that. Laser Therapy is a revolutionary treatment option that is providing lasting pain relief from long-term ailments often responsible for years of pain and suffering.
Dr. Andrew K. Hall of Summit Chiropractic, an East Sonora, CA Chiropractor is making a difference to his patients. After learning of the success of the Class IV Laser, he rolled up his sleeves and went to work to bring this amazing treatment option to Tuolumne County residents. The initial results have been nothing less than phenomenal.
Avoiding knee surgery and the downtime that is associated with it, is just one of the many benefits of Laser Therapy. Patients have traveled from as far away as Modesto in just the short time the treatments have been offered, with relief being reported from the symptoms of arthritis, fibromyalgia, knee injuries and shoulder pain, just to name a few.
Laser Therapy does not take the place of regular spinal manipulations but works in conjunction with the adjustments to provide a more complete Chiropractic experience and long-term results.
When I was growing up my Grandmother visited her Chiropractor religiously. Of course, my dad called him a quack and often berated her for believing in that "hocus-pocus." It wasn't until I was much older that I discovered the benefits of Chiropractic care. Regular Chiropractic care has changed my life.
A good Chiropractor is worth their weight in gold. Now before you start writing, to tell me that you've seen a Chiropractor and they didn't help you - not all Chiropractors are created equal. Take me for instance. Over 30 Chiropractic doctors have adjusted me over the years and each one has their strong suits and their weak areas. The trick is finding the one that meets your needs.
Most Chiropractors have their own area of expertise. My last Chiropractor in Sacramento was a husband and wife team. The husband was awesome with the hips and lower back, while his wife was totally amazing with my neck and upper spine. She had an amazing set of hands on her, very strong and capable. I was concerned at first, having never been adjusted by a woman before, but she was incredible. I wish it wasn't a three-hour drive.
Dr. Andrew K. Hall found his calling early in life and has used his amazing healing hands to provide first-class care to thousands of area residents. One visit will make a believer out of you. This amazing doctor has this incredible ability to know where it hurts, it's like he can feel the pain. He has found spots on me that caused pain that I wasn't even aware of until he made them better. That is the kind of Chiropractor everyone wants and needs.
Dr. Hall has seen a marked increase in the number of patients he's seeing these days as word continues to spread of the amazing results he is seeing from Laser or Light Therapy and Cranial Laser and Neurolymphatic Release Technique (CLNRT) therapy.
The treatments are fast and painless. After he examines the patient and determines if he or she will benefit from Laser Therapy, he will ask you to don a pair of special glasses to protect your eyes from the light, which can be damaging to the retina of the eyes. Then his gentle hands begin to apply the light therapy in light even strokes. He works methodically to provide even coverage, a standard treatment takes about ten minutes and is absolutely painless. Many of his patience report immediate relief; others may require subsequent treatments for similar results.
I can honestly say that my own quality of life has greatly improved with Chiropractic care and now with the added bonus of Laser Therapy. This is one time I can say with certainty that my father was wrong.
