Medical Health News

We have some real problems and they are only going to get worse. We have a right to know what we are eating. People are getting allergies, this isn't normal folks. If we don't pay attention to what's happening, in our food supply, to our farmers, the plants, and ultimately our grocery store we are going to wake up one day and realize we trusted the health of our children and the health of our families to the government. And the government let us down.

Antibiotics fight against bacteria that can lead to severe diseases or death, so they are lifesavers. Back in 1909 in search of a treatment for syphilis, it was created the first synthetic antibiotic, Salvarsan.

This antibiotic was very helpful, and it was used until the 40s when it was replaced with penicillin. Numerous antibiotics have been used to treat different diseases. Revealing antibiotics meant a huge advance in modern medicine.

My friend Libertarian Girl asked me what I thought libertarians should be doing more of when it comes to communicating with the public.

This is a quick list of things that I've noticed to be either effective or counterproductive. It isn't exhaustive or perfectly phrased, and shouldn't be taken to be an indictment of all libertarians-in reality, it's mostly a list of mistakes I've made, and effective strategies I've seen others employ-but it may be helpful for some...

To enforce ObamaTax, aka ObamaCare, federal lawyers have written 13,000 pages of regulations to enforce 21 new taxes with tens of thousands of new IRS agents.

Big Government: Like King George III, ObamaCare has erected a multitude of new offices and sent hither swarms of IRS agents and regulators to harass our people and eat out their substance. A second revolution is needed. We paraphrase these words from the Declaration of Independence as a reminder of what spawned this country's independence - an oppressive governance that would give rise to the original Tea Party in Boston - and as a reminder of President Reagan's dictum that the demise of the liberty we fought for and cherish is never more than a generation away.

The U.S. Government has been caught conducting an insane amount of vile, inhumane and grisly experiments on humans without their consent and often without their knowledge.

So in light of recent news of the U.S. infecting Guatemalans with STDs, here are the 13 most evil, for lack of a better word, cases of human-testing as conducted by the United States of America. Get ready to become one of those conspiracy theory nuts, because after this list, you will never fully trust your government again.

You think the FDA has your back?

Sure, they recently proposed two new regulations to up food safety measures, specifically how food processors and farmers can work better to keep their fresh products free of dangerous bacteria (remember that killer cantaloupe outbreak from 2011?). But while it may seem like the government is out to protect us from bad-even fatal-food-borne illnesses, which cause some 3,000 deaths a year, they don't completely have our best interest-or health-in mind. "For numerous suspicious and disturbing reasons, the U.S. has allowed foods that are banned in many other developed countries into our food supply," says nutritionist Mira Calton who, together with her husband Jayson Calton, Ph.D., wrote the new book Rich Food, Poor Food due out in February.

CHENNAI: More children in India are dying every year soon after being vaccinated, and the government has no clue why.

Union health ministry statistics obtained under the Right to Information Act show that 128 children died in 2010 due to adverse effects after immunization (AEFI). That count has risen in the past three years, with 111 such deaths in 2008 and 116 in 2009.

Just as the Obama administration tries to reassure people that the government can manage the health-care system more competently than what we have now, one of its single-payer systems demonstrates exactly what we can expect from ObamaCare.

The VA mistakenly informed 1200 veterans that they have amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig's disease, a 100% fatal condition. They blamed it on a "coding error." The notifications went out in a letter intending to inform ALS sufferers about the benefits available to them through the VA.

Do Democrats dominate this entire list?

These 12 U.S. municipalities are having a major problem grasping a simple concept: spend less money than you take in. Detroit is being held up as an anomaly by the unintentionally comical left-wing punditry and in no way a reflection of Democrat Party standard operating procedures, so perhaps a few more case studies are needed. Based on Moody's ratings from April, the analysis of Stephen Moore and Doug Ross, and recent news stories, these 12 cities share a lot more in common than their deteriorating bond ratings - they have an affinity for a certain political party (and not always the one you think). Let's do a quick run-down!
