Remember me, as you pass by.
As you are now, so once was i.
As i am now, soon you shall be
Prepare for death, and follow me
I had once lived a life said free
it kept me from eternity
freedom was true but misdefined
i'd lived my life so confined
the sky was blue the grass was green
i was bound in chains never seen
the world was large and life was slow
i tried to help but couldn't go
the chains locked up i'd get nowhere
i couldn't move just sit and stare.
The world moved on but never changed
if there's a god he's quite deranged
he helped the few to get ahead
left the mass in their death beds
i once laid back to loose the chains
but what ensued was greater pain
i learned too fast it was a lie
to face the world we each must die
fear of this fact will blind your eye
to see the truth look to the lie
I had once lived a life said free
it kept me from eternity
freedom was true but limits be
death was there but not for the free
to help the world extinguish me
the few the proud the only me
in time the world had stayed the same
oh please, dear world, just end the game
let me die, i've lost long past
my fading life fading fast
