The sky above her's always cloudy
and rarely has she seen the sun
but all of thats ok
she isn't there for real (anyway)
The room she lives in's inhumanly clean
and her parents are so happy to believe
their little girl's okay
but she's not there to know it (anyway)
She sleeps an average sixteen hours
and every night she's out with friends
"heather are you okay?"
but her daughter - looks away -
Heather are ya livin' in a man made illusion
and is it my brother that caused this confusion
ask if i can help you child - you know i will
if you need a way out sister - you know i will
The clouds above her started raining
and as it floods she's washed away
but all of thats okay
she isn't there for real (anyway)
Her childhood act's uncommonly good
and her parents are so quick to believe
their little girl's okay
but she's not there to know it (anyway)
She wakes up sobbing from a nasty dream
her mother walks into the room
"heather, are you okay?"
but her daughter - turns away -
Heather are ya livin' in a man made illusion
and is it my brother that caused this confusion
if anyone can help you child - you know they will
if you need a way out sister - you know we will
