"Just Visiting"

Tranquil - The darkness breaks as i open my eyes
Tunnel - With a light at the far distant end
Forward - The light bears up and down a staircase
Stairway - Above is cool below is warm, down
Descent - Easy and pleasant is the way down

Darkness - The light from the tunnel has faded
Torrid - Heat and darkness enclose me now
Safety - Off the stairs it might be cooler
Amiss - The heat is now an unseen flame
Retreat - I turn and the stairway is gone

Astray - Lost in a burnig land below
Explore - I search thru darkness without time
Access - I search in vain to no avail
Awake - Heat and dark break as i open my eyes
Untrue - And then they tell me i am wrong

Just visiting
A land i cannot see nor hear
Lost in a world
I cannot bear
Time no longer rules me
Only Darkness speaks to me
Just visiting
