"Loyalties"

Father's in the garden making most of what he finds there
Brother's in the bathroom sneaking in a cigarette
Sister's with her lover makin' music for the radio
Mother's in the laundryroom bitchin' 'bout doin' it again
tomorrow

I'm the butt of all their problems
without me it wouldnt be home
as long as i don't do anything
there's always someone to blame
At last there's someone to blame

Mother's in the kitchen makin' dinner for an army
Sister's in bedroom playin' the music way up loud
Father's in the bedroom nappin' 'fore he eats and goes to bed
Brother's gone away for now planning for tomorrow he
may be dead

I'm just waiting for their needles
so my loyalties'll stay
as long as i dont do anything
there's always another day
there'll be another day
