"Mythus"

Far too long have i tread the ground between
what they tell me is reality and
what i have learned could never be
its been so long since i've heard a warning tale
about the way it was meant to be
and all i was meant to be

But now that i'm free of the clear bright day
i once again wear my rose color glasses
and i can see how it was meant to be
i can see what i can't see
never see
never will i ever claim to see
anymore than i can see
behind my rose color glasses

Far too long have i seen the green lights
how they show me where to go and
keep me from where i'm going
it's been so long since i joined the mythic dream
that all that i see's reality
and none of it is real

But now that i'm free of the historic lies
i can once again veil my crying eyes
and i can see what i'd never see
i can see what you cant see
now i see
now no one can blame it on me
anymore cause i can't see
a veil of rose color glasses
