"Someday Things'll Change"

Someday Things'll Change
in this little town i grew up in
maybe it'll rearrange
and the young ones wont be burnin crosses
Someday Things'll Change
in this great big world in my back pocket
maybe it'll rearrange
and the old men wont be trading curses

i hope someday that things'll change
right now the gods are gamblin on ho'll lose more
but it'll all prolly stay the same
and with the wars all raging in our backyards
do they think they have us tamed?
are we the sheep in pasture headin for dinner
when will they all learn
nobody wins if ANYONE's fighting
i hope someday that things'll turn
out for the better with no one losing
but maybe that's a hope in vain
does anybody feel the pain?
