"Sparks"

Sparks catch and it bursts aflame
the raging beast's no longer tame
it dances across the skies
almost as if it were alive
it touches down far away
like an eagles perch gone astray
it tries to cross the seven seas
but there are so many more of these
the wind sings a tune of laughter
followed by a cry of despair
all that lives will soon be burned
it teaches nothing we havent learned...

a million times before
like another war

The enemy can not be killed
and the friends an not be saved
we lay upon our dieing beds
singing songs without our heads
from a sparks been birthed an eternal flame
the seas are dry and none are sane
at first i did not fear the beast
years ago when it should've ceased
but now it lives and will not die
death tolls never been this high
all that lives will soon be burned
it teaches nothing we havent learned...
