A brand-new report suggests that Hillary Clinton's State Department leaked confidential national security secrets to New York Times reporter David Sanger.

The leaks were allegedly in exchange for writings that made the department look tougher. Judge Andrew Napolitano discussed the severity of the leaks on this morning's Fox and Friends. "All governments leak information, we know that. But when the government leaks national security secrets in return for favorable treatment in the press, the government is showing its hypocrisy because it is violating the very same statute that it's attempting to prosecute Edward Snowden for violating," Napolitano said.

CBS News has uncovered a serious pricing problem with HealthCare.gov. It stems from the Obama administration's efforts to improve its health care website. A new online feature can dramatically underestimate the cost of insurance.

The administration announced it would provide a new "shop and browse" feature Sunday, but it's not giving consumers the real picture. In some cases, people could end up paying double of what they see on the website, CBS News' Jan Crawford reported Wednesday on "CBS This Morning." As President Obama promises to fix HealthCare.gov, his administration is touting what it calls "improvements" in design, specifically a feature that allows you to "See Plans Now." White House press secretary Jay Carney has said, "Americans across the country can type in their zip code and shop and browse." But CBS News has learned the new "shop and browse" feature often comes with the wrong price tags.

The federal health care exchange at Heathcare.gov has accidentally enrolled thousands of applicants in the government's sex offender registry, the latest of many technical failures to hit the troubled site.

According to several senior officials, since the exchange went live on Oct. 1 around 40,000 individuals looking to buy insurance have instead been listed on the National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW), a searchable database of rapists, molesters and others convicted of sex crimes. The mix up was first discovered by people searching for sex offenders in their neighborhoods, only to find their own names. Administrators are uncertain how such an error occurred, but they note that both websites were built by the same contractor, CGI Federal.

Dan Kahan, the Elizabeth K. Dollard Professor of Law and Professor of Psychology at Yale Law School was curious about the relationship between "science comprehension" and political outlooks.

His findings shocked him: tea party supporters are actually more scientifically literate than the non-tea party population. "I've got to confess, though, I found this result surprising. As I pushed the button to run the analysis on my computer, I fully expected I'd be shown a modest negative correlation between identifying with the Tea Party and science comprehension. But then again, I don't know a single person who identifies with the Tea Party. All my impressions come from watching cable tv - & I don't watch Fox News very often - and reading the "paper" (New York Times daily, plus a variety of politics-focused internet sites like Huffington Post & Politico). I'm a little embarrassed, but mainly I'm just glad that I no longer hold this particular mistaken view."

Healthcare.gov, the federal government's Obamacare website, has been under heavy criticism from friend and foe alike during its first two weeks of open enrollment. Repeated errors and delays have prevented many users from even establishing an account, and outside web designers have roundly panned the structure and coding of the site as amateurish and sloppy. The latest indication of the haphazard way in which Healthcare.gov was developed is the uncredited use of a copyrighted web script for a data function used by the site, a violation of the licensing agreement for the software.

The homeless man participating in a highly-publicized software coding tutorial was arrested earlier this morning by the NYPD.

According to NYC programmer and self-proclaimed entrepreneur Patrick McConlogue, "Journeyman" Leo was arrested for trespassing in a city park within the confines of the 10th Precinct, which includes Chelsea. McConlogue tells us Leo was "picked up for sleeping on a bench that he normally doesn't sleep on." NYC Parks are closed from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. The timing is unfortunate-McConlogue and Leo are scheduled to appear on The Today Show Wednesday morning to talk about their project. McConlogue discovered that Leo was arrested when he went to meet him for their daily tutorial. "His hat was there and his coffee was knocked over, so I knew something happened."

"They've unchained itself from their own constitution - the mechanism by which we govern ourselves. 'ScareMail' seeks to confuse NSA programs with nonsense

An Illinois man has developed a Gmail browser extension designed to randomly insert fake, nonsensical stories into the signature of every email one sends to confuse the NSA's surveillance operations.

Benjamin Grosser says "ScareMail" takes keywords from an extensive US Department of Homeland Security list used to troll social media websites and utilizes them "to disrupt the NSA's surveillance efforts by making NSA search results useless." The buzzwords include the likes of "Al-Qaeda" and "Al-Shabab," yet also more mundane terms like "breach," "threat," "death" and "hostage," among many others. Documents released by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden revealed that the NSA uses the "selector" terms to sift through Internet data it collects via a tool known as "XKEYSCORE."
