Hackers have struck at least two Swedish government-affiliated websites, shutting down one of them in a denial-of-service attack and leaving links to profane messages on the other.

The attacks come just days after police on Monday raided a Stockholm-based webhosting company, PRQ, and a video was posted on YouTube - allegedly made on behalf of the hacker group Anonymous - warning Swedish authorities of repercussions. Police spokesman Anders Ahlqvist says the website of Sweden's Courts Administration was swamped with false users, while links to a foul message was left at the National Board of Health and Welfare. Both sites are running again.

Today we are excited to announce our plan to move to a rapid release cycle for Flash Player releases starting with Flash Player 11.5. This will allow us to deliver more frequent updates to our labs beta community.

Using the background update mechanism in Flash Player, beta releases will be installed seamlessly to our nearly 1.1 million beta users and we encourage you to subscribe if you have not already. Beta users will have access to new features earlier in the release cycle to use, test, and provide feedback. Due to this change we will consolidate our private and public beta programs into a single public beta program so we can bring the world's best runtime to our beta users' fingertips.

On September 25th, SourceForge became aware of a corrupted copy of phpMyAdmin being served from the 'cdnetworks-kr-1' mirror in Korea. This mirror was immediately removed from rotation.

The mirror provider has confirmed the attack vector has been identified and is limited to their mirror; with exploit having occurred on or around September 22nd. Through validation we have confirmed the corrupted file (a modified copy of phpMyAdmin-3.5.2.2-all-languages.zip) was served only via the 'cdnetworks-kr-1' mirror. While we believe that only one file was modified on the 'cdnetworks-kr-1' mirror, we are conducting additional validation to confirm and will provide update once this process concludes. The mirror remains out of rotation.

Earlier this week, an issue impacting Internet Explorer affected a small number of customers. The potential exists, however, that more customers could be affected.

As a result, today we have released a Fix it that is available to address that issue. This is an easy, one-click solution that will help protect your computer right away. It will not affect your ability to browse the web, and it does not require a reboot of your computer. Then, on this Friday, Sept. 21, we will release a cumulative update for Internet Explorer through Windows Update and our other standard distribution channels.
